When you're a kid, it's hard to imagine what kind of people your classmates will grow up to be. Some become lawyers or teachers or dentists, but on a rare occasion, one of your fellow students might become a famous actor, singer, or another kind of celebrity.

Sometimes a few people from the same class or school grow up to be famous, and their previous connection can be pretty surprising.

Here are 17 surprising celeb duos you'll be shocked to learn went to school together:

1.Jenna Marbles and Winston Duke were friends in high school.

In her partner Julien Solomita's vlog, Jenna was excited to go see Black Panther in theaters so she could cheer for Winston.

2.Drake made fun of Elliot Page in high school because he had a crush on them.

Drake apologized to Elliot on his blog in 2009.

3.Snoop Dogg sold weed to fellow Long Beach Polytechnic High student Cameron Diaz.

She told Lopez Tonight, "We went to high school together. He was a year older than me. He was very tall and skinny and wore lots of ponytails in his hair, and I’m pretty sure I bought weed from him. I had to have."

A few months later, he told Lopez Tonight, "I might’ve sold her some of that white girl weed."

4.Maya Rudolph was friends with Gwyneth Paltrow in elementary school.
