."For me personally, the movie I think is perfect is Palm Springs. The cinematography is so eye-catching, the characters are flawed but charming, the chemistry between the characters is natural and effortless, the dialogue is funny upon multiple rewatches, and the soundtrack is so good."

."Honestly I think that Knives Out perfectly fits this. Throughout the entire movie, there was not a single line or scene wasted."

."I just watched Mad Max: Fury Road for the first time and I gotta say, I was absolutely captivated from start to finish. That film wasted none of its 120-minute run time, and every single frame was expertly crafted and engaging."

."To Kill a Mockingbird. When I first saw that, I was mesmerized from the opening credits til the ending credits. I named my car 'Scout,' I wanted to have a son named Jeremy and I would call him 'Jem,' stuff like that."

."For me, it would be Amélie. It’s a visual treat, it's so imaginative, it shows such a range of human emotion and experience, and it has a glorious soundtrack."

."For TV shows, Breaking Bad. But for movies, hear me out: Dunkirk. I’m not a big war movie person, but that movie was just fantastic. We saw it on literal film reels and it was beautiful."

."I truly believed as I left the theater that Close Encounters of the Third Kind was the best movie ever made. The special effects had never been seen before and it was a fun story. Eventually, I found some parts I wished could have been better, or edited out, but it took 36 viewings to get there."

."Goodfellas! You know a movie is brilliant when it manages to captivate viewers like me who don’t even like mobster-type movies. I think I’ve seen it at least 15 times."

."Titanic. The pacing and plot are amazing and work together seamlessly, the casting is top-notch, and don't even get me started on James Horner's score. The movie is three hours long, but it doesn't feel like that, with the second half being pure adrenaline as you watch the people onboard fight for their lives. It's one of my all-time favorite movies."

."Steel Magnolias is a perfect movie. It is funny, sad, and very quotable. The casting is amazing. It is an underrated classic that never gets old."

."I gave it some thought and I want to add my personal 'flawless' movie: Warrior, starring Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte, and Joel Edgerton. I don't think it did very well, but god do I love it. It's so nuanced, and you can watch it multiple times and notice more and more clues and details about the characters' pasts and the family dynamics. Absolutely love that film."

."In addition to the first two Godfather films: There Will Be Blood. Sure, you dislike both main characters, which keeps it from being a favorite for me, but WOW, the story and some surprises and great acting...just, wow."

.And finally, it was on the first list but it bears repeating: "The only thing that could make The Princess Bride better is slightly longer running time. You just can't get enough of this movie."
