The author works in sustainability policy- and I love that she was able to give us a realistic outlook about what MIGHT happen if we don't do anything about climate change, mixed in with this page-turning thriller.

This book opens with a bang- literally, as tragedy strikes within the first couple pages of this book. This is a paranoia thriller set in a wealthy neighborhood in DC, where a woman with chronic illness begins to suspect her live-in nurse is out to get her.
Drowning by TJ Newman
Drowning: The Rescue of Flight 1421 (A Novel)
If you couldn’t look away from the Titanic submersible story, then Drowning is for you. It’s a cinematic thriller about a plane that sinks to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and an urgent rescue mission to try and save the 12 passengers that are still on board. This story is claustrophobic and tense with just enough backstory about the characters to keep you invested.
