Draymond Green is a future NBA Hall of Famer who is one of the most important players on the Golden State Warriors. He was extremely instrumental in helping the team win four NBA championships in seven years. But those days are long behind him.

In the last 15 months, he’s been in the news more for hitting players than defending them. Justified or not, his on-court acts of violence have led some to question Green’s continued presence in the league.

Green’s latest act involved hitting a player that did not deserve it at all. Jusef Nurkic was simply playing defense and it led to him being hit square in the face. It was a sucker punch that led to Green being suspended indefinitely by the NBA.

Chokes Rudy Gobert

This is by far the wildest overreaction on this list. After Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels got in a little tussle, Green went for Rudy Gobert, who was simply trying to break up the confrontation. This led to Green being suspended for five games.

Steps on Sabonis

While Green may have been provoked, it’s still pretty crazy to step on another NBA player in the middle of a playoff game. Yeah, Domantas Sabonis may have done some Oscar-worthy acting, but Green still did too much. It led to him being suspended for one game in the playoff series.

Knocks out Jordan Poole

Here’s one incident we can never forget, it involves clocking his teammate in practice. I mean, just look at this hit. It’s a Superman punch.

Short documentary about hitting Jordan Poole

Maybe the worst thing that came out of the Jordan Poole punch was the mini-documentary he did with the NBA on TNT. Complete with dramatic music playing in the background, Green explained how he doesn’t care about people’s opinions and that he didn’t know how viral the video of the punch had gotten. Just a bad look overall.

Pulls down Jaylen Brown’s shorts

This incident was less violent and more weird. I know Green is an enforcer who is meant to get in the other opposing players’ heads, but pulling down Jaylen Brown’s shorts? Just strange.

Tackles Kevin Porter Jr.

This clip still confuses me. Draymond dives for the ball, gives it to the other team, then goes on to tackle Kevin Porter Jr. who was barely involved in the play. Thankfully, it didn’t escalate past that.

Flying knee against Austin Rivers

It’s one thing to defend a jump shot. It’s a whole other thing to throw a knee at Austin Rivers while in mid-air.

Fight with Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal played a part in this fight, so it’s hard to just blame Green. But getting to the point where your jersey is being ripped off is crazy.

Argument with Kevin Durant

This incident likely led to Kevin Durant leaving Golden State. After Green botched the last possession in regulation against the Clippers, the two veteran players were seen going back and forth on the bench, with Green reportedly saying some things that shouldn’t be repeated.

Pushes James Harden

I can’t defend Green on this one. James Harden scored a basket and Green thought it would be a good idea to push him in the throat.

“You thought you was Kobe?!”

The funniest moment on this list. In response to Paul Pierce talking trash on the Clippers’ bench, Green yelled in response, “Chasing that farewell tour they don’t love you like that...you thought you was Kobe?!”

Hits LeBron

This incident arguably led to the Warriors losing the 2016 NBA Finals. After hitting LeBron in the groin area, Green was suspended for the next game in the series. They lost that game and subsequently lost the Finals.

Hits Steven Adams

In the same 2016 Playoffs, Green kicked Steven Adams in a sensitive area that seemed to have take taken him out for the count.

Going off on Steve Kerr

Fans weren’t able to see this incident unfold, but we could only imagine what it sounded like to have one of the most intimidating players in the league bombard you with expletives.

Flips Marcus Smart

This one doesn’t get talked about often. But Green flipped a guy in the middle of an NBA game? Is this football or basketball?
