This 16-Year-Old's Cover of Adele on 'The Voice' Will Blow You Away

The Voice Blind Auditions are almost over, but the talent keeps on rolling in.

Or should we say...rolling in the deep? One contestant who performed on Monday night's episode wowed fans with her impressive rendition of a well-known Adele song.

Sixteen-year-old Rio Doyle took the stage to perform "When We Were Young" and, as John Legend pointed out, it was nearly impossible to tell that the singer was still young herself.

According to Rio, "that was the goal!"

Ultimately, John was the only coach who turned his chair for Rio's unique voice. Confused? So was he.

"How am I alone up here?" John asked his co-stars while giving his new team member a standing ovation. "Well thank you everybody, for making this so easy for me."

Rio, for her part, was thrilled to have the chance to join Team Legend.

"I never pictured myself to be doing this so young, and I couldn't be more blessed to have this opportunity," she said. "This is something that I've wanted for so long."

The teenager's success during The Voice's Blind Auditions was extra special because her mother, who recently underwent treatment for a brain tumor, got to be there while she performed. Rio explained that she got involved with music at a young age because of her mom, who had a band of her own.

"I'd go downstairs when they practiced and I would grab the mic and sing along with them," Rio explained. "My mom is my hero."

Hopefully we'll get to see a lot more of Rio (and her superstar mom!) as the competition continues.
