16 Dylan and Cole Sprouse Twitter Roasts

Dylan and Cole Sprouse began their acting careers when they were just babies — eight months old, to be exact. From there, they shared roles on TV shows like Friends and movies like Big Daddy until landing their own show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody on the Disney Channel in 2005. After the show wrapped, the twins took some time off before diving into the next phase of their careers (um, hi, Riverdale), but they definitely didn’t stop amusing their fans by trolling each other on social media. In fact, it’s one of their favorite activities, and both brothers have gained a significant Twitter following due to their witty humor and willingness to poke a little fun at each other.

The brothers turn 26 on Saturday (August 4) and in celebration of their brotherly love (and tons of goodhearted roasting), we rounded up some of their funniest sibling moments. If you’ve got brothers and sisters, especially close ones (or a twin!), you’ll probably find yourself nodding along as you LOL at the Sprouse sibs. Happy birthday, guys! Is it cheesy if we wish you a Suite Life? (Too bad.)

1. That Time Cole Accused Dylan of Digging Through His Closet

Most recently, Cole accused Dylan of stealing his t-shirts (a common sibling quibble), and then they got into it about their ~personal style.~ Also, yay for Dylan’s return to acting.

You know you’ve been there with your sibs.

2. That Time Dylan Shared One of Cole’s Fashion Mistakes

Dylan “praised” Cole’s photography and acting skills with a hilarious throwback pic of his brother in a fedora. Hey, we all made regrettable aesthetic choices in our youth, Dylan.

3. That Time Cole Sent Out Birthday Wishes to His "Twin"

On their 24th birthday, Cole wished his “partner in crime” a happy birthday. Only it wasn’t Dylan … it was President Barack Obama. (The twins share a birthday with the former president.)

4. That Time Dylan Had the Perfect Comeback

Apparently, even Cole gets confused as to which brother he played in Suite Life.

So true to form, Dylan was right there with a quippy answer.

5. That Time Cole Shared Family Secrets With the World

And revealed that Dylan was the wandering one.

6. That Time They Both Discovered WebMD

LOL.

7. That Time We Wondered Who Was Who

Cole couldn’t resist pointing out some significant differences between them. The question is … which one is which?

8. That Time They REALLY Roasted Each Other

This exchange of tweets is just good old-fashioned brotherly ribbing, and everyone ate it right up.

Dylan’s description of Cole’s Insta profile is pretty spot-on, TBH.

9. That Time Cole Literally Called Dylan Trash

The brothers have long been teasing each other about their respective aesthetics, and Cole has some pretty strong opinions about his brother’s.

10. That Time Cole Got … Un-verified?

It looks like one twin was desperate to be the only verified Sprouse on Twitter. It didn’t last long!

11. That Time Cole's Roast Was a No-Brainer

A National Geographic tweet about small brains was an obvious draw for the Sprouse brothers; Cole retweeted it, tagging his brother. A cheap trick, but we still laughed.

12. That Time Dylan Shaded His Brother’s Singing Skills

Cole notably didn’t sing in the Riverdale musical episode, and for Dylan, that was a blessing. Can you imagine the trolling that would have gone on between the brothers had Jughead warbled a verse or two?

13. That Time They Argued about Who Was "Unplanned"

Apparently, one of the twins had to be the unplanned one considering, well, they’re twins. No one can say for sure which twin was the so-called “planned” one, but according to Cole, he’s the favorite. We’ll be waiting for their parents to weigh in on that one.

14. That Time They Celebrated Special Holidays

First, Cole tagged Dylan in a tweet about National Cow Day, and his twin didn’t miss a minute wishing his brother a belated “birthday” for International Beaver Day, which falls on April 7. We have a feeling fans won’t let them forget about this exchange next April.

15. That Time Cole Shaded Dylan’s “Content”

Apparently, Cole’s not a huge fan of what his twin brother puts on social media. He trolled him with tweets about it, directing him to “log out” and directly tagging him in the second tweet, just so Dylan didn’t miss it.

16. That Time Cole Made a POLL about Dylan

Poor Dylan just can’t catch a break! His brother’s favorite pastime seems to be poking fun at him, and he even went so far as to create a poll about what the “douchiest name” is. "Dylan" won by one measly percent. Ouch. (For the record, we think Dylan is a wonderful name!)
