It was a complete color explosion on Instagram this week. Japanese street style star Yu Masui set the tone at Tokyo Fashion Week with his trademark traffic-stopping looks—in this case a jersey splashed with blue and green, as well as neon yellow sneakers with blue socks, and a snappy leather Dunhill jacket. New York-based artist Ana Kras was also on the global circuit, taking time out in Copenhagen to compose a gram-worthy outfit which included an iridescent watercolor-print Moncler puffer coat direct from local model Caroline Brasch Nielsen’s new vintage e-shop. Closer to home, singer Kelela headed to the Whitney Museum of American Art wearing a glam ballerina creation by designer Raul Lopez of the label Luar for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Design Challenge that came with a swathe of shiny burgundy fabric that cut across the optic white bodice.
