When is Presidents Day 2023? 

Presidents Day historically occurs on the third Monday in February, so this year, the federal holiday falls on Monday, February 20, 2023.

When do Presidents Day 2023 sales start? 

Presidents Day sales have been going live earlier and earlier in the past few years. This year is no different, as some retailers have already launched their 2023 sales! If your favorite brand seems to be holding out, however, most other sales drop the Friday before Presidents Day (so, February 18 this year) or begin on the holiday itself. Just keep your eye out for deals as they pop up.

How long do Presidents Day 2023 sales last? 

Presidents Day sales usually last the weekend leading up to the holiday and ending at midnight on Tuesday. For example, last year we saw plenty of retailers extend their Presidents Day 2022 sales, including Coach, Home Depot, Leesa and Tuft & Needle. Meanwhile, Beautyrest and Serta concluded their holiday sales in March.

Like last year, we expect to see select Presidents Day 2023 sales last at least through the end of the day on February 20, but many stores turn it into a month-long event, with some sales lasting through early March. That being said, if there’s something you’ve been waiting to buy, we recommend pulling the trigger sooner rather than later to avoid missing out due to shipping delays and supply chain issues.

What stores offer Presidents Day 2023 deals? 

At this point, the better question might be what stores don’t offer Presidents Day deals! From big box stores like Target and Walmart to online retailers like Amazon, Wayfair and Overstock, there are dozens of opportunities to save every year.
