Put down your Pear Phones and stop chugging Blix for a moment because we have some super important news to share: The world of Zoey 101 will soon be in our lives again!
It's been 15 years — yes, really! — since we last saw Zoey and her friends' escapades at Pacific Coast Academy. The Nickelodeon series ended in 2008, but a follow-up short film on YouTube revealed a major unanswered question from the show that broke the internet in 2015. Then the cast reunited in 2020, and the world of PCA again became part of current pop culture.
On January 12, 2023, news broke that Nickelodeon is starting production on Zoey 102 (working title) in North Carolina, and will reunite a ton of stars from the OG show. Zoey 102 will be a feature-length film that'll premiere exclusively on Paramount+ later this year. So, if you don't have Paramount+ yet, now is the time to get it. Get ready to return to sunny Southern California, because here's everything we know (so far) about the all-new Zoey 101 movie, Zoey 102.
Who's returning for Zoey 102?
So many of the original Zoey 101 cast members are coming back. Here's exactly who is reprising their iconic characters in the new movie:

Um, what about Austin Butler?
ICYMI, Oscar nominee Austin Butler starred as Zoey's on-again, off-again boyfriend James Garrett in season 4 of the OG Nickelodeon series. He replaced Chase — who was studying in London for the semester — as Michael and Logan's new roommate.
Sadly though, it doesn't seem like the actor will return to PCA for Zoey 102. "I haven't heard anything about that," he said on Variety's "Awards Circuit Podcast" when asked about the reunion film. "I don't know."
Although we'd love to have Austin back in the Zoey-verse (and see his character with an uncanny Elvis accent...), the actor remains appreciative of his early roles in Hollywood. "I 'm so grateful for all those stepping stones that I had throughout my career," he added."Zoey 101 was a big turning point for me because it was the first time I was ever a series regular on a show, so I got to be part of an entire season."
What is Zoey 102 about?
Zoey 102 will follow PCA alumni as they reunite for Quinn and Logan's wedding. Get ready for more shenanigans from your faves as they reconnect with old friends and flames.
Besides starring in the movie, Jamie Lynn Spears is an executive producer. She shared in a press release, "I’m beyond thrilled to be back alongside my PCA family and continue the story of Zoey and all the characters fans know and love. As an executive producer, it’s been an exciting opportunity to work with such incredible talent as well as Paramount+ and Nickelodeon."
We truly can't wait to see this movie, and if it's even half as good as the iCarly revival has been on Paramount+, we know we're in for some seriously nostalgic goodness. 2023 is going to be a great year!
