After years of practice, Taylor Swift is a pro at keeping her relationships private. Because of that, we don't know too much about her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn and their life together, but it does seem like things are getting more and more serious as they days go by. So, if you're dying for more information on Joe, look no further. Here's everything we know about Taylor's bae.

1. They had a moment at the Grammy Awards.

Unfortunately, Taylor opted to walk the Grammy red carpet alone instead of bringing Joe as her plus one, but the couple did still share a sweet moment during the ceremony. While accepting the award for Album of the Year, Taylor gave her boyfriend a brief shoutout.

"Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine," she said to her boyfriend who cowrote of few of the songs on both Folklore and Evermore under the pseudonym, William Bowery.

Joe, meanwhile showed support for his girlfriend's big accomplishment in a more subtle way. When Taylor posted about her Grammy win on Instagram, Joe liked the post. Of course, I am sure they will celebrate Taylor's big night more privately very soon.

2. He supported her when she called out Ginny & Georgia.

In case you missed it, Taylor Swift called out the Netflix show Ginny & Georgia over a joke they made at the singer's expense.

"Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back," she wrote on Twitter. "How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse sh*t as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you. Happy Women’s History Month I guess."

Fans then noticed Joe's quiet support of his girlfriend, as he "liked" Taylor's tweet.

3. He encouraged Taylor to be more vocal about her political views.

While these days, Taylor gets extremely political on social media, that wasn't always the case.

"As a country musician, I was always told it’s better to stay out of [politics]," Taylor said in an interview with Vanity Fair. She revealed that "the Trump presidency forced" her to educate herself. "I found myself talking about government and the presidency and policy with my boyfriend [actor Joe Alwyn], who supported me in speaking out. I started talking to my family and friends about politics and learning as much as I could about where I stand. I’m proud to have moved past fear and self-doubt, and to endorse and support leadership that moves us beyond this divisive, heartbreaking moment in time."

4. He may be having kids with Taylor soon.

Yup, even though Taylor and Joe aren't married (as far as we know), there may be a mini Taylor coming into the world soon. According to Us Weekly, "Taylor and Joe have discussed children." Apparently, "She’s very excited about that chapter of her life when the timing is right and comes."

It's unclear when exactly the timing will be right. All of her friends are having kids right now. But, as we know, Taylor has been busy lately, re-recording her old albums.

And then, of course, there's the question of marriage. Apparently, that's on their mind too. In March 2020, a source told Us that the pair has "talked about marriage," but they "don't have a set deadline in place."

5. He's a songwriter.

Joe joined in on the songwriting process for both of Taylor's quarantine albums, Folklore and Evermore. Under the pseudonym William Bowery, he helped write "Exile," "Betty," "Champagne Problems," "Coney Island," and even the title track "Evermore."

6. He's a British actor.

Joe grew up in London and has a degree in acting from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

7. But his career is just taking off.

He starred in two student productions before landing his first-ever movie role — a starring role! — in the 2016 war drama Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. He had a supporting role in a drama called The Sense of an Ending earlier this year, and he has two movies slated for 2018: The Favourite, an 18th-century English period flick starring Emma Stone and Nicholas Hoult, and Mary Queen of Scots, another period film about the 16th-century Scottish royal. He is set to star as Nick in Conversations with Friends, a followup to Hulu's Normal People.

8. His former classmate has some, uh, interesting thoughts about him.

"He's very charismatic, he's what I refer to as a quintessential panty-dropper," his old schoolmate Jordan Bunton-Williams told the Daily Mail. "Your classic prince charming."

9. He modeled alongside Gigi Hadid in Vogue before he even met Taylor.

10. He starred in a movie with Kristen Stewart.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, in which Joe stars as a 19-year-old Iraq War veteran brought home on a victory tour after a deadly battle, also stars the Twilight alum as Billy's sister Kathryn.

11. He's a Pisces.

Born February 21, 1991. FYI: Pisces/Sagittarius compatibility is a mixed bag — it's not the most amazing match, but not necessarily a doomed one, either.

12. He was quarantining with Tay.

While he previously lived with his mom, Elizabeth, an author, writer, and therapist and his dad, Richard, a documentary filmmaker, he spent quarantine with his GF. He even has the cutest cat photos to prove it, which he posted back in April.

13. He has a habit of falling asleep on buses.

In that same Vanity Fair interview, he explained his go-to take-out cuisine is Indian, his favorite rapper is Eminem, and his most overused emoji is 💃🏽.

14. News broke that Taylor and Joe were a couple in May 2017.

But they likely began dating months before that. (Taylor was spotted at a Billy Lynn screening with the Haim sisters in November.) "This isn't a new couple alert or a secret relationship – the only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us, Taylor and Joe's closest friends and their families, were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a longtime," a source told The Sun in May 2017." After her 1989 tour and all the attention Taylor received, she learned she had to be more protective of her personal life and she and Joe decided early on to keep their private life private."

15. Emma Stone reportedly introduced Taylor and Joe.

Like I said, Emma and Joe are co-stars. She thought Joe was a good guy and introduced him to Taylor.
