15 Jobs That Will Let You Travel the World (and They're Accepting Applications Right Now)

Work is work, but most would agree that working from a café in a new city or a pool in a tropical paradise is substantially better.

This global mentality is becoming the mindset of today’s workforce, which is desperately in need of a boost. Gallup’s 2017 State of the American Workplace discovered that only 33 percent of employees are engaged at work, meaning that two-thirds of the workforce spends their work days checked out and uninspired. Could jobs that allow you to travel be the fix?

According to recent research from LinkedIn, it’s a possibility. LinkedIn career expert Blair Decembrele told Travel + Leisure by email that “41% of millennials think having a good job today means having flexibility so they don’t have to sit 9-5 at a desk, and more than half (51%) of professionals say they are proudest to work at companies that promote work-life balance.”

If flexibility and a better work-life balance is needed to boost employee engagement, then travel-friendly jobs may be the solution. From remote positions to international-based jobs to gigs that require international travel, the data team at LinkedIn has curated a list of travel-friendly opportunities — and they’re all available right now.
