15 gadgets from CES 2024 you can buy right now

Companies from around the globe gather in Las Vegas every January to debut their latest, greatest products at the Consumer Electronics Show, the world’s largest technology trade show. Many of these items are so cutting edge that they’re still prototypes (think transparent TVs, for example). But this year, a surprising number displayed at CES 2024 are already available for purchase.

Whether you pride yourself on being an early adopter or just want to impress friends and family, you'll find some of tech's cool new gadgets below. From deluxe computer monitors to the latest in wearables, here is just a small sample of the hottest new tech products from CES 2024.

Want a high-end gaming laptop with all the bells and whistles? Razer has you covered with the Blade 16. It has a 16-inch 240Hz OLED display and a super-fast 14th-gen Raptor Lake Core chip, which means you'll get top-tier graphics and performance. You’ll have to pay for the privilege, but hey — the latest and greatest isn’t cheap.

It’s not quite as top-tier as the Blade, but Alienware’s m16 R2 Gaming Laptop isn't too shabby, either. It has plenty of upgradeable features – everything from the RAM to the SSDs can be taken up a notch – plus a front-facing webcam with facial recognition and AI-powered noise-cancellation for all those Twitch livestreams.

Another laptop made for gamers is HP’s Omen Transcend 14, but this one is fairly light and portable. HP is even calling it the lightest gaming laptop in the world at only 3.5 pounds. It still has fairly solid specs for the price, with a 14th-gen Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 9 processor, up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB of storage and an NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU.

How about a huge, ultra-crisp monitor to go along with your new laptop? Dell has that for you, and it's a stunner. It's the first 40-inch 5K monitor “certified for five-star eye comfort” thanks to a special refresh rate that produces smoother visuals and reduces eye strain. It also has an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness and color temperature depending on the surroundings.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider the LG 32-inch MyView Smart Monitor. It doubles as a Smart TV, so it can stream Netflix and other services. The screen offers a 4K IPS panel, a widescreen 16:9 ratio and HDR10 support. A monitor and TV in one, it would make a coveted addition to a dorm room or teen’s bedroom.

Now these are the definition of futuristic. The Mojawa HaptiFit Terra Sports Trainer headphones have bone-conduction audio and act as a virtual fitness coach thanks to some AI smarts. They can track swimming laps, distance, heart rate, step count, pace, calories and more.

For a pair of earbuds that won't tax your budget too much, look no further than the JBuds ANC earbuds, which retail for $60. They also offer noise cancellation, plus a portable charging case, water resistance and onboard touch controls.

If you prefer over-the-ear headphones, JLab has an option for that, too. The new JLab JBuds Lux ANC Wireless Headphones have spatial audio, customizable EQ, and up to an impressive 70 hours of battery life.

If you’re in the market for a fitness tracker that can double for a pretty smart watch, consider the Garmin Lily 2. The 35mm metal case will fit slender wrists, and health-conscious folks will appreciate features such as heart-rate monitoring, sleep quality ratings and connected GPS features.

Garmin also makes a more straightforward heart-rate monitor in the form of the HRM-Fit. Though anyone can wear it, it’s an especially great pick for women because it attaches to sports bras. It will also help you track your pace, distance and stride length.

If you’ve ever had your power go out for long, you know the value of having a Plan B. The EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra home battery backup system is exactly that. It can keep your whole house running by harvesting energy from the sun.

Add some color to your home with the Nanoleaf Skylight Smarter Kit, which comes with modular flush-mounted ceiling lights. They can be programmed to mimic the sky or any other color combinations you can dream up.

As its name suggests, the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro will track its subject, making sure they’re on camera the entire time. It’s perfect for more professional video calls — or anyone who yearns to be a TikTok influencer.

If you’re not a professional grill master, it can be tough to fine tune exactly how to smoke your meats. The GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker helps remove the guesswork thanks to some modern tech. It infuses smoke flavor in a couple of hours of cooking, much faster than the typical whole-day affair. Best of all, it can be used indoors because it doesn’t use as many wood pellets as outdoor smokers.

Gaming for hours can get a little uncomfortable. Not so with a supportive gaming chair like the Razer Iskur V2. It has a spring-loaded lumbar support system designed to mold itself to your body’s weight and posture.
