Disney's Encanto is a film that not only entertained in the theaters but also took over audiences' radio stations and devices with its incredible songs.

For weeks and weeks, you couldn't go anywhere without hearing a song from the film, and although I listened to the songs at length, I didn't take the time to take in the lyrics of some of these fantastic songs due to trying to keep my sanity.

So I took a journey back after listening to "Dos Orguitas" and broke down my favorite lyrics from the songs of Encanto.

15."Colombia, te quiero tanto / Que siempre me enamora tu encanto."

A girl on her dads back reaching up to touch something

14."I can't move the mountains / I can't make the flowers bloom / I can't take another night up in my room / Waiting on a miracle."

Isabela and Luisa showing off their powers while Mirabel is in the background looking at them

13."I would move the mountains / Make new trees and flowers grow / Someone please just let me know, where do I go? / I am waiting on a miracle."

Mirabel spinning in her dress looking up as flowers blossom around her

12."Under the surface / Was Hercules ever like, 'Yo, I don't wanna fight Cerberus'?"

Luisa holding a sword and shield with Mirabel in the background looking nervous

11."I move mountains, I move churches / And I glow, 'cause I know what my worth is"

Luisa flexing her arms looking back at Mirabel

10."I make perfect, practiced poses / So much hides behind my smile / What could I do if I just grew what I was feeling in the moment?"

Isabela posing

9."What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect? / It just needed to be, and they let me be."

Isabela swinging up while being surrounded by flowers

8."All I know are the blossoms grow / But it's awesome to see how you rise."

Mirabel smiling at her sister Isabela

7."Give it to your sister, your sister's older / Give her all the heavy things we can't shoulder / Who am I if I can't run with the ball?"

Luisa holding up pieces of the earth while singing to Mirabel

6."It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling / Always left Abuela and the family fumbling / Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand / Do you understand?"

Dolores and Mirabel dancing together

From "We Don't Talk About Bruno" performed by the Encanto cast.

I think most fans love Dolores's part in the song, not just for the melody and cadence in which Adassa is performing it but also for the subject matter as we find out more about why Bruno was such an outcast.

Disney

5."Oh, and that's my mom, Julieta, here's her deal / Whoa, the truth is she can heal you with a meal / Whoa, her recipes are remedies for real."

Julieta with a bowl of food looking at Mirabel who is shrugging with a small smirk

4."We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no! / We don't talk about Bruno...but..."

From "We Don't Talk About Bruno" performed by the Encanto cast.

There's always a little bit of gossip or "bochinche" in families and this song captured the essence of how families can swear they won't speak on a subject and then immediately start spilling the tea.

Disney

3."You're more than just your gift / And I'm sorry I held on too tight / Just so afraid I'd lose you, too."

Pepa and Julieta being embraced by their mother Alma

2."Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin — / Thunder! / You telling this story or am I? / I'm sorry, mi vida, go on..."

Pepa frustratingly looking at Feliz who is apologetic

1."Ay, oruguitas / Don’t you hold on too tight / Both of you know / It’s your time to grow / To fall apart, to reunite."

Alma and her husband looking at each other
