These fluffy breeds come in many sizes and colors, and they all have one thing in common—poodle genetics. Breed Characteristics
Doodles are usually considered to be hypoallergenic dogs because they are bred with poodles, but because there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, they should be considered more allergy-friendly. Depending on the kind of dog they are crossed with, some doodles will shed very little and not cause a problem for people who are otherwise allergic to dogs.
Despite the minimal shedding, doodles require regular haircuts and grooming appointments to maintain their high-maintenance coat. If you don't want the cost of regular grooming, these are not the dogs for you.
