How much tinted sunscreen should you apply?

To get the full SPF protection listed on the label, tinted sunscreen should be applied just like regular sunscreen. For the face, Zeichner recommends applying about a quarter-sized dollop. You should also reapply every two hours if you’re going outdoors, or more frequently if you’re sweating or going in water. Remember to check your sunscreen’s label to see how long the formula is water-resistant.
