From mid-September through the first week of November, this colorful pumpkin patch is the place to be in the Washington D.C., area for hayrides, slides, farm animals and tunnels. There’s also a tractor museum, and don’t miss the famous hand-cut fries, kettle corn and barbecue.
Studt’s Pumpkin Patch in Grand Junction, Colorado
Starting October 1, this family-run farm kicks off its fall festivities with a pumpkin drop from a 100-foot crane, a giant corn maze and at night, fire pits with s’mores.
The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York
This family favorite’s claim to fame? A spot in the book of Guinness World Records for the first 1,000-pound pumpkin.
