Goodnight Mommy
Naomi Watts stars in this thriller flick (a remake of a 2014 Austrian film) about twin brothers (played by Cameron and Nicholas Crovettei) who begin to suspect that the woman they thought is their mother—all bandaged up after returning home from the hospital—may not be Mommy at all (Prime).

Heathers: The Musical
New live TV-special presentation of the hit West End musical—based on the movie that became one of the greatest teen cult films of all time—stars Alicia Davidson, Simon Gordon, Maddison Firth and Vivian Panka (Roku Channel).

CMT Giants: Vince Gill
Live performance event honoring the country hitmaker will feature tribute performances from Brad Paisley, Marin Morris, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Sting and more (9 p.m., CMT).

SATURDAY, Sept. 17

WOW Women of Wrestling
The only female wrestling organization with a global footprint comes to syndicated television, bringing the glitz, glamor and grit of bouts between larger-than-life WOW superstars, including the Beast, Beverly Hills Babe, Jungle Grrrl, Princess Aussie, Siren and the Voodoo Doll (Check local listings).

Girl in Room 13
Based on a true story, a young girl addicted to opioids becomes a prisoner of a drug dealer and  a victim of human trafficking. With Anne Heche, Larissa Dias and Max Montesi (8 p.m., Lifetime).

SUNDAY, Sept. 18

Halloween Wars
Ghost Adventures host Zac Bagans returns to take teams of pumpkin decorators to some of the world’s most haunted places and inspire their frighteningly fun creations (9 p.m., Food Network and Discovery+).

MONDAY, Sept. 19

Quantum Leap
Reboot of the 1990s TV hit starring Scott Bakula as time-traveling Dr. Sam Beckett now stars Raymond Lee as Ben Song, who “leaps” throughout history to sort out and solve various problems (NBC).

NCIS
New landmark 20^th season of the gritty police procedural begins tonight with a crossover episode featuring its South Pacific counterpart, NCIS: Hawaii. Teri Polo returns to the cast as the ex-wife of agent Aiden Parker (Gary Cole) (9 p.m., CBS).

TUESDAY, Sept. 20

Reboot
From Modern Family creator Steven Levitan comes this eight-episode series about a TV series from the early 2000s, now “rebooted” for a new audience…and forcing its reunited, dysfunctional cast to work together again. Starring Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Keegan-Michael Key and Paul Reiser (Hulu).

FBI

Fifth season of the crime-busting series (starring Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zati and Jeremy Sisto) begins as the agents at the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York City seek a bomb that has fallen into the wrong hands (CBS).

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 21

Big Sky
Reba McEntire and Jensen Ackles come aboard the crime drama thriller series, in respective roles as a mercurial matriarch of a well-established local family, and the new sheriff in town (10 p.m., ABC).

Meet Cute
New film follows a young couple (Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson) who find out their “fateful” meeting likely had something to do with a time machine (Peacock).

Andor
New LucasFilm series in the Star Wars canon—taking place prior to the events in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story—stars Diego Luna, who returns to the role of Cassian Andor as he embarks on his journey of becoming a rebel hero (Disney+).

THURSDAY, Sept. 22

Law & Order
Sam Waterson, Jeffrey Donovan and Hugh Dancy return to the cast of the crime drama about police and crime-busting district attorneys (NBC).

100 Years of Music & Laughter
One-night-only celebration honors the legacy—and the remarkable 100^th birthday—of TV’s iconic producer Norman Lear, the man behind some of television’s most classic series, including All in the Family, The Jeffersons and Maude (9 p.m., ABC).

AT THE MOVIES

Viola Davis leads the cast of the historical epic The Woman King, about the all-female warrior unit that protected a West African kingdom in the 19^th century.
