At times, the beauty world can feel daunting: Countless new brand launches, what feels like daily product releases, and, of course, a never-ending stream of beauty-related content. But when you encounter so many options, you're bound to come across some truly exceptional finds—and that applies to everything from products to creators.

From hair and makeup tutorials to "get ready with me" (GRWM) videos, nail inspo, reviews, and so much more, a few beauty creators stood out to us in 2023. From rising stars to household names, continue below for 14 of this year's most impactful beauty content creators.

Monet McMichael

With more than 3.7 million TikTok followers (and counting), Monet is the girl of the moment. She's beloved for her entertaining and laugh-filled GRWM videos, but we'd be remiss if we didn't also shout out her top-tier editing skills. With fun music choices, innovative transitions, and multiple camera angles, her content is always captivating.

Meredith Duxbury

Who remembers Meredith's iconic foundation technique? If you love following social media's most viral trends, we're sure you gave this one a go. While it's certainly not for everyone, we love that Meredith isn't afraid to be herself. She's known for her makeup tutorials and transitions, which have helped her amass more than 18 million followers on TikTok.

Zola Ganzorigt

Whenever we need a bit of nail inspo, we turn to Zola. One of the most talented and in-demand celebrity nail artists, her clients include Vanessa Hudgens, Sydney Sweeney, Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber. (The glazed donut trend? Yep, that was her.) From gorgeous nail designs to new shades we've never heard of, we can always count on Zola to inspire our next nail appointment.

Tiara Willis

Tiara, a licensed esthetician, can always be relied upon to keep things real when it comes to skincare. Often debunking myths and explaining how things actually work, we enjoy her takes on all things beauty. When she's not discussing skincare concerns, she can also be found testing out makeup, new skincare products, and more. We've seen her soar this year on TikTok, and we're sure she's about to blow up in a big way come 2024.

Erin Parsons

A vintage collector and fan of all things classic, makeup artist Erin Parsons has the uncanny ability to transform her looks on a whim. She's best known for rocking black eyeliner, and we'd be lying if we said we haven't tried to recreate it. If you're looking for more of a niche makeup artist who also offers some great application techniques, we highly suggest giving her a follow.

Javon Ford

Who better to trust for skincare advice than a cosmetic chemist? Javon, who tests and develops beauty products, is also just a thoroughly joyful watch. Whether sifting the truth from lies or advising viewers on which products have the best formulations, we like how he gets into the nitty-gritty. If you love learning about the scientific aspect of beauty and the ingredients that go into the products you likely already use, Javon should be on your radar.

Golloria

Golloria, who covers beauty, skincare, and lifestyle, is perhaps best known for her "Darkest Shade" videos. She amassed more than 1 million TikTok followers by keeping it real, regardless of how big or small a brand might be. She sheds much-needed light onto the ones who are crushing it—and the ones who need to expand their shade ranges. And that is something we can certainly get behind.

Matt Newman

Matt, a hairstylist with years of experience in the industry, is one of our favorite content creators to follow for hair tips. His hacks are some of the best in the biz: One of our favorites is the headband and hairspray method, which provides tons of volume. If you're looking for styling tips, best practices for using your hot tools, or other valuable hair info, you'll love Matt's content.

Leilani Green

Out of all of the creators on TikTok making makeup transition videos, there's no one we look forward to watching more than the infinitely creative Leilani. In addition to her fresh and original transitions, she also talks about her favorite products and does loads of tutorials. She's one to watch, and if you're not already following, now is the time.

Sean Garrette

An esthetician and skin specialist, Sean uses his expertise to break down the more scientific aspects of beauty in a fun and informative way (while dishing out some great advice). Whenever we come across one of his videos—whether he's showing the right way to use a skincare product or filming a GRWM—we always have our pens and notebooks at the ready.

Christie X

Known for her brand comparisons, Christie X often puts two brands to the test, discussing which products she likes, if they're similar, and the ones you should ditch altogether. She's one creator we've come to know and love in 2023, as have her million or so other loyal followers.

Alix Earle

It-girl Alix Earle gained a massive following on TikTok by taking her followers behind the scenes and showing them what her skin really looks like. Sure, she loves her filters as much as anyone else on social media, but what sets her apart is that she doesn't hide anything. This candid nature keeps her more than 6 million Tiktok followers viewing her GRMs and adding her product recs to their carts.

Cyrus Veyssi

When we're in the mood for a good laugh, we search for Cyrus. At the intersection of comedy and beauty, they frequently compare relationships to techniques and products. Not only are they hilarious, but they also offer up some pretty stellar product recs. As of this writing, Cyrus has more than 500,000 TikTok followers—and we're sure that number will skyrocket in the new year.

Tom Bachik

Working with celebs like Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, and Camila Cabello, Tom Bachik is the sought-after nail tech behind some of 2023's buzziest manis—think Selena's "fire chrome" nails that set social ablaze or J.Lo's "fantasy French." Join his 600,000 followers on Instagram for some much-needed nail tips and inspo.
