September 5th is Amazon Rainforest Day, and now, more than ever, it's a necessary and imporant remind that our rainforests need help. Every single day, we lose thousands of acres of rainforest around the world, meaning our rainforests are literally dying. This is a tragedy for so many reasons—rainforests are home to 50% of the world's species that will die out if their environment disappears. On top of that, rainforests help protect our climate and are home to many indigenous peoples.
