September 5th is Amazon Rainforest Day, and now, more than ever, it's a necessary and imporant remind that our rainforests need help. Every single day, we lose thousands of acres of rainforest around the world, meaning our rainforests are literally dying. This is a tragedy for so many reasons—rainforests are home to 50% of the world's species that will die out if their environment disappears. On top of that, rainforests help protect our climate and are home to many indigenous peoples.
You might not think there's much you can do on your own to save the rainforests, but every little bit helps. You don't even need to travel to a rainforest in order to do some good. Here are some little things you can do to help save these natural wonders.
