Sam was always Sam."

The Breakfast Club star said she "learned a lot" while watching her son, Beckett's, journey when he came out as transgender. She explained that he "doesn't hide anything" and she feels "very comfortable talking to anyone whose kid is just beginning the process of transition" adding that "parents need to educate themselves."
