Did you know that Walt Disney World is home to many wonderful breakfast options? It's no surprise since you'll need fuel in the morning for visiting the parks and walking around all day. Here are my favorite spots for breakfast inside the parks and some great options in various Walt Disney Resorts as well. As a Central Florida local and an annual Disney World passholder, I have been to Walt Disney World countless times and would never steer you wrong.

Main Street Bakery

In each of the Walt Disney World Parks, there is a Starbucks-themed coffee shop and bakery. The Main Street Bakery is located on, you guessed it, Main Street. It’s convenient because you can grab breakfast as you enter the Magic Kingdom. Yes, the breakfast sandwiches here are what you can get at most Starbucks but this one has a special cinnamon roll that is definitely worth trying. It’s Mickey-shaped and is flaky like a croissant. Also, look out for holiday cinnamon rolls; at Halloween, for example, they frost them with orange icing, and for Christmas, it’s red and green icing.

Gaston’s Tavern

Everyone talks about the cinnamon rolls at Gaston’s. This is definitely a large, shareable cinnamon roll. I couldn’t finish it by myself. You can even request an extra cup of frosting on the side. When you walk into Gaston’s, you are immediately hit with the smell of sugar and frosting, and it’s intoxicating. I think this cinnamon roll is well done but I will say that the Main Street Bakery Mickey cinnamon rolls are a tad better.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Dining inside Cinderella’s castle is such a special treat! Once inside, you’re greeted by Cinderella herself and you can snap a photo with her, too. Walking up the winding staircase and being seated inside the castle feels so regal. Everyone called us m'lady and our server even addressed us as the royal family.

Breakfast is a set price at $42 for adults and $27 for children. The baked quiche is made with a puff pastry and it’s total buttery perfection. The shrimp and grits were perfectly cooked and the fried egg on top was crucial. If you’re looking for something sweet, the caramel apple-stuffed French toast was more of a bread pudding-style breakfast. When you leave Cinderella’s Royal Table, a cast member gives you a wand as a souvenir.

Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is in my top-three favorite quick-service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom. Mickey-shaped waffles with strawberries for $7.49 to plain Mickey waffles for $6.49 and their Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at $8.49. If you have never had a Mickey-shaped waffle, you should add them to your list. They are the perfect crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. The waffle sandwich is perfect because no fork and knife are needed. Then come back later for the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich.

La Crêperie de Paris

La Crêperie opened in 2021 around the same time as the Remy's Ratatouille Adventure ride. Both are crowd favorites, and because La Crêperie is so popular, it can be hard to get a reservation. Just know that you can also order crepes at the walk-up window outside. I like the ham, egg, and swiss Galette ($16.95), but I lean more toward sweet crepes over savory. The pomme crepes are served with caramelized salted caramel sauce ($9.95). That salted caramel sauce made it for me and I almost didn’t want to share it with my husband! For $2.95 each, you can add whipped cream, ice cream, or any sauce. It’s totally worth it!

Connections Eatery

I told you that you need to try Mickey waffles at Walt Disney World. Well, when you go to Epcot, you must try the Liege Waffle at Connections Eatery. Made with a brioche dough and piled with pearled sugar before it goes into the waffle iron, it has a nice chewy texture. By the way, you can watch the Disney chefs making these waffles in the kitchen through a huge glass window. The waffle is covered in strawberries and whipped cream and then topped with chocolate sauce.

Can you tell by now that I love the France pavilion in Epcot? The breakfast options and desserts at Les Halles are quite marvelous. The beignet is filled with a chocolate-hazelnut spread and it's the lightest, fluffiest doughnut I've ever had. And pro tip: I often order a plain croissant that’s $2.95 for myself and a chocolate croissant that’s $3.80 for my husband to have for breakfast the next day when we are staying on Disney property.

Hollywood and Vine

For a while, Hollywood and Vine was featuring family-style dining, but the buffet is back. Of course, you have to get the Mickey waffles and the signature Disney crispy bacon. I have asked cast members how they get their bacon so crispy, and they just respond with, “It’s Disney magic!” Adults are $42 and children are $27. This is a character breakfast experience as well, and Mickey, Minnie, and friends are usually dressed for a holiday or the season.

Ronto Roasters

You can try the overnight oats for $6.99 and the Ronto morning wrap for $12.49. You can also get the Ronto Wrap for $12.99 for breakfast. I highly recommend both wraps but since the morning wrap is only available for breakfast, get that and then come back for the Ronto wrap for lunch. The grilled pork sausage is great with eggs and cheese all wrapped in pita bread. There’s also a breakfast plant-based wrap for $11.49, with plant-based eggs and chickpea-onion slaw. The vibe of Ronto Roasters is great too: you feel like you're in Batuu.

Tusker House Restaurant

Tusker House is normally a buffet-style restaurant brimming with seemingly endless options. It’s one of my favorite buffets on Disney property. Until November 1, breakfast will be served family style and then the buffet will return. When it returns, be sure to get the Simba-shaped waffles, the crispy bacon, the sweet pastries, and the African-inspired breakfast items.

Capt. Cook's

You should get the tonga toast at Capt. Cooks or at the Kona Cafe. Both located inside Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Tonga toast is two gigantic pieces of sourdough bread stuffed with banana, deep fried, and dusted with cinnamon sugar. You need this, trust me. You can also choose between bacon or sausage, and I always go with the crispy bacon.

Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

Am I allowed to pick an absolute favorite? Topolino’s would be tied for 1st place with Cinderella’s Royal Table. But if you had to ask me which one has the better food, it’s Topolino’s hands down.

First, the wood-fired butcher’s steak was perfectly cooked and the sour cream waffles had just the right amount of sweetness. We also had the avocado toast and the prosciutto and poached egg on top made it. It’s $42 for adults and $27 for children. The server said we could pick one entree and an additional one that would come as a smaller portion. There was plenty of food, and with the characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy dressed like they were in a European adventure, it was a blast. P.S. Don’t skip the pastries they bring to the table when you first sit down; the croissant and apple crumble muffins are a must.

Ale & Compass is located inside one of my favorite Disney Resorts, the Yacht Club. They have a breakfast buffet for $23, but I opted to order breakfast off the menu. The salted caramel apple French toast comes with sausage or bacon for $16, and it's the best French toast I'd had in a while. The service was nice and relaxed.

Boma - Flavors of Africa

Boma is another crowd favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast buffet is $29 per adult and $17 per child, and it's honestly a steal for what you get. The breakfast pastries are fantastic, the crispy bacon and so many other options. From the carved ham to the turkey bobotie, even the coconut steel-cut oatmeal is so good. And one thing, I don’t even like sticky buns and I still went back for a second one. They usually have a different bread pudding with vanilla sauce that you have to try, too. Boma is one place I will be going back to again and again.
