13 TV Shows and Movies to Watch This Week While the Weather's Still a Mess

From the second season of 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' to 'Trust' on FX, here are the 13 TV shows and movies to put on your radar this week.

I don't know about you, but the weather's really annoying me right now. It's almost April, but the East Coast just experienced a huge snow storm. Other parts of the country have been extra chilly, too. What gives? I want to go outside and frolic, but the wind chill is keeping me indoors and sad.

Thankfully, there are plenty of TV shows and movies airing this week to watch while the weather gets its act together. From Splitting Up Together to the Roseanne reboot, these shows will keep you warmer than this so-called "springtime."

Sunday, March 25

Barry: Bill Hader stars in this dark comedy series about a depressed hitman whose life takes a surprising turn after he moves to Los Angeles and joins a theater group. The power of Shakespeare, ladies and gents. Hader co-created this series and directs a few episodes, so expect some big laughs. 10 P.M. ET on HBO

Trust: This new drama series from Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle centers on the 1973 kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, which was also the subject of the recent film All the Money in the World. Hilary Swank and Donald Sutherland star. 10 P.M. ET on FX

Monday, March 26

The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling: This two-part documentary special explores the life and career of comedian Garry Shandling, who was loved and cherished by several powerhouses in the industry, including Sarah Silverman, Jim Carrey, and Jerry Seinfeld. 8 P.M. ET on HBO

The Terror: This 10-episode thriller series focuses on the Royal Navy's 19th century search for the Northwest Passage. It's graphic, gripping, and sure to be one of spring's breakout hits. Jared Harris and Tobias Menzies star. 9 P.M. ET on AMC

Roseanne: This highly-anticipated reboot kicks off tonight. All the original cast members are returning, including John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf. Expect the same feel-good, blue-collar humor with a self-deprecating bent. We're excited! 8 P.M. ET on ABC

Splitting Up Together: Oliver Hudson and Jenna Fischer star in this new comedy from producer Ellen DeGeneres about a married couple who decides to divorce but still live together. 9:30 P.M. ET on ABC

Suits: Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry has sparked a new interest in this classic USA show. It'll be interesting to see how it carries on without her Rachel Zane character. 9 P.M. ET on USA

The Americans: Season six of this critically-acclaimed spy show starring Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys starts tonight. This one is equal parts sexy and thrilling, so definitely add this one to your queue if you haven't. 10 P.M. ET on FX

A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season two of this Netflix original show will explore five books from Lemony Snicket's acclaimed book series: The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, and Carnivorous Carnival.
