13 Things T.A. Founder Telsha Anderson-Boone Would Buy Again

Telsha Anderson-Boone's favorite part of discovering a new designer or tracking down a rare vintage find—for her, anything "old Celine"—may be sharing it. "I was always the person who said, 'I got this from here—you should get it, too!'" she tells BAZAAR.com. That's a small part of why her year-old New York City boutique, T.A., has thrived even with a pandemic and ensuing store closures in the background. Not only does Anderson-Boone have an eye for clothes that make us want to get dressed again, whether it's a Christopher John Rogers blouse or Ph5 knitwear; her enthusiasm for her favorite pieces is catching.

Between building rapport with designers in their showrooms and DMing with shoppers on Instagram, Anderson-Boone is building a personal wardrobe that can "transcend time and I can wear for years from now," she says." But she can be won-over by items stocked for T.A. customers who aren't necessarily herself: "I’ll stare at a piece for several days in the store like, 'Should I buy this?'" she laughs. Her Lucky 13 pieces will inspire the same must-have-it reaction, from the decor headed to her new apartment to the pieces she's already taken home from her boutique.
