“13 Reasons Why” star Katherine Langford covered a Demi Lovato song, and she sounds amazing
As we patiently wait for Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why, it doesn’t mean that we still can’t get our Katherine Langford fix. Of course, she played Hannah on the show, and we fell in love with her character. IRL, 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford covered a Demi Lovato song, and she sounds amazing. And a bonus? One of her co-stars, Ross Butler (aka Zach) sang along with her. Swoooon.
The two did a mash-up of “So Am I” by Ty Dolla $ign, Damian Marley, and Skrillex, as well as “No Promises,” by Cheat Codes featuring Demi Lovato. Even after you listen to them sing, the music will still linger in your head.

Amazing, right? And if we’d closed our eyes and listened, we could have easily mistaken Langford for Lovato. Hopefully, before Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why is fully underway, Langford can record even more songs. Fun fact: Back in 2013, Langford did sing regularly, releasing songs on her YouTube channel.

OK, so is it just us, or should Langford — or Hannah, for that matter — do some singing on 13 Reasons Why, too? With a voice like that, we certainly hope so. Hopefully, exec producer Selena Gomez has seen Langford’s videos and will consider it. A girl can hope! Meanwhile, at least now we have some things to watch (and listen to) — again and again and again — as we wait for the new season of 13 Reasons Why.
