"13 Reasons Why" Star Brandon Larracuente is Starring in Freeform's "Party of Five"

In a world filled with tons of reboots and sequels, Freeform sets itself apart with its reboot of Party of Five. Following the Acosta family, the young siblings suddenly find themselves away from their parents after they get deported back to Mexico. The show follows them as they try to continue to live their lives after this loss, while also dealing with the hope of possibly getting them back.

Not only will the show bring to light some familiar issues that are affecting thousands of teens in America right now, it also brings some new and old faces into the spotlight thanks to its incredible cast. Brandon Larracuente as Emilio Acosta

As the oldest sibling, Emilio takes on the role as the head of the family after his parent's deportation. As a DACA recipient, he knows that he likely won't be able to see his parents again after they are sent back to Mexico. He is an aspiring musician and finds himself conflicted with his dreams and what's best for his family.

13 Reasons Why fans will recognize Brandon as Jeff Atkins in the show's first two seasons. He also appeared on Netflix's Bloodline.

Niko Guardado as Beto Acosta

Beto has always viewed himself as the head of the family, especially after Emilio left to start his own music career. But when his parents are deported and his brother comes back, he finds himself butting heads with him over their different ideals and wanting to do more for everyone despite still being in high school. However, he soon finds out that trying to balance working in the family restaurant and good grades aren't as easy as he thinks.

Niko is best known for his role as Ruben Amaro Jr. in The Goldbergs and its spin-off, Schooled.

Emily Tosta as Lucia Acosta

Lucia is known to be the perfect sister and student. Unlike her twin brother Beto, school has always come easy for her and she is easily the star in the family. However, she discovers her rebellious side once her parents get deported, which brings her head-to-head with the rest of the family.

Emily is a successful model and also had a recurring role in Mayans M.C. as Leticia Cruz.

Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina Acosta

The second youngest after the birth of their younger brother, Valentina struggles with no longer having her parents around, especially her mother. She tries to help our her siblings in any way that she can, even if it's not the best idea. Valentina also tries to use her positivity to cheer up her siblings, even though she is going through a tough time herself.

This is Elle's first major TV role, although, she previously appeared in Vida as a younger version of Lyn.
