1.Maddy Perez's sense of style in seasons 1 and 2 deserved an EGOT.
Maddy's wardrobe was top-notch, and the rest of the high school looked like baby clowns in comparison. When you think of Euphoria, and your mind automatically goes to sexy clothes, thick eyeliner, and glittery mascara — you're thinking of Maddy. Yes, you are. Don't lie.
For instance, this is Maddy in everyday casual.
And this is "I'm about to go to bed" Maddy.
And this is "I'm down to earth Maddy." Like, come on.
2.I live for the one time Maddy went Bling Ring while babysitting and tried on her boss's entire closet of vintage movie star clothes that no normal person would wear without permission.
Maddy is known for her lavish outfits at school, but it was humbling to see her still aspire to do better by going full Mulholland Drive in a random rich lady's closet.
3.The first appearance of Ms. Perez in Season 2 introduced one of the best outfits in dramatic television.

Her hair was layered for the gods, the Ashanti baby hairs were curled, and the hoop earrings dangling. Remember when the high school video vixen thought her ex-boyfriend Nate was pooping at the New Year's party? (He was hooking up with her best friend, actually.) I live for this mediocre dance routine. I was so obsessed with the basic two-step tutorial that I talked about it for months. Maddy was the "It-Girl" of the high school and the only one brave enough to confidently put rhinestones on her eyebrows like a Star Trek alien.

Maddy had aspirations to be a great mother one day. She told her bestie BB that she would look cute and pregnant out of the blue. When BB asked if she remembered when she got pregnant to discourage her, Maddy replied, "Yeah, it will be NOTHING like that." You can't rain on Maddy Perez's parade.

When she found nightmare bae's photo album full of dick pics, she earnestly asked him to open up about his sexuality instead of getting angry. When he pushed back, she tried to reassure him that sexuality is a spectrum and he didn't have to be ashamed. Kudos to Maddy for the progressive dialogue, although it didn't work.
9.Besides the drug-dealing shopkeepers Fezco and Ashtray, Maddy is the only teenager with an actual job in Euphoria.
She was a nanny for the son of a rich family, and her dynamic with the kid was priceless. For instance, when she told Cassie that Nate "fucked her up," she immediately argued with the kid, insisting that she didn't curse. She clearly did, but her lighthearted gaslight technique was pure comedy.
10.Maddy will always keep it 100 with you. There's no doubt about that.

When Cassie walked into the bathroom decked out in her blue and white gingham dress, looking like a character straight out of Oklahoma, Maddy and the crew called her out with no hesitation. Cassie tried to play dumb, but Maddy replied with the iconic line, "Bitch, you better be joking." The rest is meme history.

After she learned about Cassie and Nate, I thought it was over then and there. But, Maddy was calculated and waited until the right moment to exact her revenge — the climax of Lexi's play. She stormed up to the stage, did her own stunts, and chased Cassie through the halls of the high school.
13.And lastly, nothing will beat this entire sequence of Maddy discovering Cassie is screwing her ex-boyfriend:
