They say that the first thing people look at when they see another person is their shoes. The same goes on fashion Instagram, especially this past week when footwear was standout. Paloma Elsesser showcased her Prada talaria flame wedges with a pair of the label’s highlighter yellow socks. Rita Ora gave her feet the royal treatment while en route to Copenhagen, her next stop on tour: The singer showcased a pair of luxe smoking slippers and a white sock with a private plane in the background. Singer Rina Sawayama had a standout sandal moment for her stage look in London—a criss-cross gladiator heel that read va va voom.

It wasn’t all feet, though. While in Paris, Emily Ratajkowski gave off a very luxe Studio 54 vibe in a glittering barely there silver top. On the more pared-back end, Ruby Aldridge made a case for country style in the camouflage section of a store in nothing less than head-to-toe camouflage print. But there was also Victoria Beckham who did “country style” in a very posh way. She headed to her flagship store on Dover Street in an open back green silk dress and red stiletto pumps, captioning the shot with, “I thought anything green worked in the country?” Well, to each their very chic own.
