12 Things You Didn't Know about the Coastal Living Showhouse

DID YOU KNOW: This is our 28th (!!!) Showhouse, but it's the first to be located in the Hamptons.

DID YOU KNOW: Our first-ever Showhouse was located in Charleston, South Carolina. Since then, we've had SIX more Showhouses in South Carolina, including one in I'On in Mount Pleasant (2009) ...

DID YOU KNOW: Our 2009 Showhouse was in Southport, North Carolina, which was also voted our 2015 Happiest Seaside Town! (See one reason—there are many!—we love Southport.)

Three of our other Showhouses have also been in North Carolina: two on Bald Head Island, and one in River Dunes.

DID YOU KNOW: Virginia has been the site of two of our Showhouses: one in Chesapeake Bay, and one in Norfolk (pictured below).

DID YOU KNOW: In addition to our Showhouses, we've also had three Holiday Coastal Cottages—because what could be better than Christmas at the beach? (And we know it's not Christmastime anymore, but how cute is this storybook Rhode Island bungalow all dolled up for the holidays?)

DID YOU KNOW: Florida is home to FOUR Showhouses: one in Carillon Beach (1999), one in Watercolor (2001), one in Mirabay (2004), and one in Rosemary Beach (2012, pictured below):

Our 2003 Idea Condo was also in Florida—Bonita Springs, to be exact!

DID YOU KNOW: This year's Showhouse will be our THIRD Showhouse in the Northeast. In 2006, our Showhouse was located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island ...
