To celebrate Female Founders Month, we’re recognizing the leading ladies who have taken their ideas and ran with them.
From sports bras to snack bars to self-defense classes, ideas and organizations created by women have had a huge impact in the running world. This May, in honor of Female Founders Month—an annual observance established by StartupGrind in 2015 to recognize female leaders in business—we’re celebrating the female founders who have made a positive impact in the running community through nonprofits, retail, and races. Here, we’ve compiled a list of a dozen innovative women—runtrepreneurs, if you will—who came up some truly wonderful ideas and ran with them.
