From his iconic six-season run in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to starring in multi-part movie series like Men in Black, Smith is no stranger to blockbusters. He's held his own in major films alongside top actors like Tommy Lee Jones and Gene Hackman and even starred with his son Jaden in the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness.

His roles have spanned tons of genres, from comedies like Hitch to dramas like King Richard to sci-fi flicks like I, Robot. 1. Aladdin (2019)

Will Smith's highest grossing movie? The 2019 live-action remake of Disney's Aladdin, which brought in 1.05 billion dollars in revenue. Smith takes on the iconic part of the Genie who grants Aladdin his wishes, which was originated by Robin Williams in the first film.

2. Independence Day (1996)

A hit action film for the actor which has some very quotable Smith lines, Independence Day follows the story of alien invaders descending on Earth to destroy the planet before the 4th of July. The film brought in $817.4 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of the year at $306.17 million when it was released in 1996.

3. Suicide Squad (2016)

Smith's entrance into the DC Universe came with his casting as Deadshot in Suicide Squad. Raking in $746 million in worldwide revenue despite low reviews, the movie follows Harley Quinn, The Joker and more D.C characters brought in a task force of incarcerated supervillains created to defend the world against the apocalypse.

4. Men in Black III (2012)

The success of the first Men in Black movie in 1997 resulted in multiple sequels, with Men in Black III bringing in the highest revenue, at $654 million. The movie brings Smith's Agent J back in time in an attempt to thwart an assassination attempt on his partner's younger self.

6. Men in Black (1997)

The first in the hit film series, Men in Black starred Smith alongside Tommy Lee Jones. The duo work for a secret agency that defends the United States against alien attacks, spending the movie fighting off the intergalactic terrorist Edgar the Bug. The film brought in $589.4 million.

7. I Am Legend (2007)

I Am Legend brought in a whopping $585.4 million at the box office. The film follows Smith as Dr. Robert Neville, a biologist and one of the few survivors of a strange plague. He searches for other possible survivors with his dog by his side, and works on developing a cure, all while defending himself against the cannibalistic albino mutants that infected humans become.

8. Men in Black II (2002)

Much like its prequel and sequel, Men In Black II was also a box office success. While bringing in $140 million less than the first Men in Black, this sequel still generated $445.1 million in box office revenue. Also underperforming the first movie was the soundtrack's rap song "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" that Smith performed. It placed lower on the Billboard charts than Smith's original MIB rap.

9. Bad Boys for Life (2020)

It's not every time that a sequel outperforms the first movie—just look at Men in Black—but Bad Boys for Life blew past the first and second films in the Bad Boys series, raking in $426.5 million from its release. This third installment follows Smith and Martin Lawrence as they work to take down a mother/son drug lord duo.

10. Hitch (2005)

This romantic comedy follows Smith as a suave dating coach who works with a client (played by Kevin James) to help him get a date with his crush. Hitch earned $371.6 million and still holds up as a solid rom-com from the time.

11. Shark Tale (2004)

Lending his voice to an animated film, Smith was transformed into the fish Oscar, who teams up with a shark to pretend he was the one who killed the shark's mob-connected brother and get the phony mantle of Sharkslayer.
