As the name implies, this bag actually can carry it all, making it the perfect carry-on or weekender for a little escape. Though it comes in five sizes, we love the extra-large bag for its roomy capacity and lightweight feel. There are several pockets as well as a laptop sleeve, with space for shoes, a few outfits, and toiletry bags for cosmetics and jewelry.

Having multiple cases floating around your bag is inconvenient when you’re looking for your glasses one minute and your sunnies the next. Plus, not all glasses cases are made equal and some don’t hold up when thrown around during travel.

As Dover mentions, the brand creates high-quality bags that both look and function beautifully. “Dagne [Dover] products are unique because they are lightweight but also strong enough to carry a heavy load that withstands the test of time,” Dover says. “Our bags are mostly handmade due to the complex construction, and we don’t cut any corners when it comes to quality — meaning we use the softest zippers, performance-focused materials, long-lasting hardware, and skilled craftspeople.”
Is neoprene a good material for a backpack?
Absolutely. Neoprene is essentially waterproof, and can even regulate temperature — you’ll see it used in lunch bags because it can insulate cold or warm temperatures with ease. Plus neoprene is incredibly soft to the touch which adds enjoyment for the backpack wearer (no itchy straps here).
This material also stands the test of time because it’s highly durable. Dirt has a hard time sticking to it, and if some should succeed, you can wipe it away with a damp cloth in seconds. Plus, the fabric is thick so it’s not easily susceptible to tears or rips. The only downside of neoprene is the cost, which you see in the price of these bags, but for such a long-lasting and effective material, we believe it’s 100 percent worth it. These bags are an investment, but a good one.
Are Dagne Dover products sustainable?
"We’re always testing new performance fabrications and eco-conscious materials because we are here to make the best products in the most unique ways that don’t disregard the need for a more sustainable future," Dover says.
Various bags are completely vegan — so made without any animal byproducts like leather. You’ll also find that all the linings and dust bags (which are super soft) are made from recycled water bottles. This recycled material, called Repreve, uses less water and energy than regular fiber and contributes less to greenhouse gasses. Many of the bags are also made with 100 percent organic cotton and/or neoprene, which is a waterproof, stain-resistant synthetic rubber.
Plus, all scraps go towards samples and excessive inventory, and returns are donated to local charities in Los Angeles. To extend each bag’s life and usage, Dagne Dover has a partnership with resell service platform Archive that bore Almost Vintage — a secondhand sale system to buy and resell Dagne Dover bags to keep them out of landfills.
