Prime Day is here! Amazon’s big two-day sales event known for offering its customers big sales on home appliances, electronics, beauty products, fashion, and even food is already underway. One sector of products offered during the sale are items from Black-owned businesses. In order to take part in the historic deals that place on one of the biggest shopping days of the year, it’s imperative that you have an Amazon Prime account.

An Amazon Prime membership is $14.99 per month or $139 for a full year (and Amazon even offers a 30-day trial), which also comes with benefits such as free two-day shipping, movie and TV streaming, and access to e-books. Having an Amazon Prime account also allows you access to the online retailer's lightning deals, which are deals that tend to take place over the course of a day that expire once the timer runs out or the product sells out—whichever happens first.

From an exfoliating body scrub to a detangling brush and even a couple of fun trivia games, this list includes Black-owned brands that showcase the diversity in products on the market right now.
