I swear, my hair only gets curlier by the day, and I'm not mad about it. I certainly wouldn't have appreciated my natural texture even a few years ago, but now I'm constantly on the hunt for products that will help me enhance and care for my wavy hair. During a Target run, I spotted an impressive array of haircare products and decided to give into my curiosity and finally try the $11 Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Oil.

According to Mielle Organics, this miracle treatment touts more than 30 essential oils and nutrients and is also packed with biotin and aloe. However, it's the rosemary oil that stands out, an ingredient known to stimulate hair growth, among other benefits. "Rosemary oil is good for hair growth because it is anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory, increases blood circulation, and [contains] fatty acid," New York City trichologist Bridgette Hill previously told Real Simple.

After sporting a bob for the past 15 years, I've been on a mission to see how long I can grow my hair for the past year. Plus, there's always room on my beauty shelf for a TikTok-viral hair treatment. It's best suited for coily hair types that fall between 3A to 4C and hair that's been chemically treated, braids, weaves, and with low and high porosity levels. I fall somewhere between 2C and 3A, and my hair is usually riddled with split ends, flyaways, and an itchy scalp—but I'm still delighted with the treatment.

You can easily use it as a daily oil, but I prefer it as a weekly concentrated treatment for my strands. I use the precision dropper to saturate my scalp and work the formula through the length of my hair. I also use my Heeta Scalp Massager to take my routine to the next level. I'll let it sit in my hair anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, then I'll wash it out with my regular shampoo in the shower.

After letting my tresses air-dry, I immediately notice how much smoother my waves appear. My scalp is less itchy throughout the week, my frizz has reduced after a month of use, and I've been able to use less product in my hair after each shower while still delivering defined curls. When I run my hands through my strands, I'm met with a silky, smooth texture, and my mane feels much healthier. Needless to say, I'll be keeping this stuff on hand for my cold-weather haircare routine.
