11 TV Shows and Movies Airing This Week to Get You in the Halloween Spirit

From Halloween baking shows to scary new original series from Hulu, here are 11 TV shows and movies to watch this week to get you into the Halloween spirit.

Now that we're fully into October, it's time to queue up some scary TV shows and movies. Thankfully, this week's TV and movie slate covers all levels of spookiness—from the harmless (Halloween Cake-Off) to the unnerving (Light as a Feather). Of course, there are other things premiering that are just fall-inspired and have next to no scares, like Hallmark's Under the Autumn Moon. And if you want something in between, there's always Riverdale.

Below, here are all the TV shows and movies airing this week to look out for:

The Walking Dead: Nine seasons in, and we still haven't fully solved that whole zombie apocalypse issue. 9 P.M. ET on AMC

The Flash: Don't worry, millennials: Your weekly dose of Grant Gustin is returning. 8 P.M. ET on The CW

Wednesday, October 10

Riverdale: Archie's on trial. Betty's mom might be joining a cult. Toni and Cheryl are finally couple! There's so much intrigue going into the season three premiere of Riverdale. We're excited to see what happens. 8 P.M. ET on The CW

Thursday, October 11

Supernatural: Because we know you're still watching this show. (Don't worry, millions of people are, too.) Season 14 (yup, 14) begins tonight. 8 P.M. ET on The CW

Friday, October 12

Light as a Feather: An innocent round of Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board goes horribly wrong for five high school girls, who start dying off in the way the game predicted. Streaming on Hulu

The Romanoffs: Is it possible that eight people with different backgrounds from all around the world are a part of the same royal family? We'll find out when this fun new series from Amazon drops. Streaming on Amazon
