We probably don't need to tell you about Kim Kardashian's influence—but with more than 347 million followers on Instagram alone, successful brands like SKIMS, KKW Beauty, and SKKN, and a number of hit TV shows, her empire is only growing bigger. And while it may seem as if a new celebrity skincare, makeup, or hair collection is launched every minute, Kardashian tells BAZAAR.com that none of her beauty companies—both past and present—are just cash grabs.

"I've always been passionate about beauty, and wanted to launch expertly crafted, universally loved products that filled gaps in the market," she explains. "When I launched KKW Beauty with my contour kits, it felt like a natural move, as I loved contouring and wanted to create a product I truly loved and wanted to use. And when it came to SKKN by Kim, I was really inspired by the skincare journey that began with my psoriasis diagnosis. It really motivated me to learn about my skin, and the best ways to take care of it."

Ahead of SKKN by Kim's official release last year, the star worked with top professionals, like celebrity aesthetician Joanna Czech, to create a nine-step routine that works for all skin types. "I wanted to create a legacy skincare brand that incorporated all the incredible knowledge I've learned from some of the top dermatologists and aestheticians over the years, and help bridge the gap between these experts and people at home seeking high-quality skincare solutions," she says. "We spent years perfecting the formulations, so each product is made with sought-after, efficacious ingredients, designed to reactivate skin's inner potential."

Well-known for sharing some of the most intimate details of her life, Kardashian's viral social media posts illustrating her personal skin care techniques—including the importance of pressing routine staples into the skin instead of rubbing them on—are no different.

What are you reading these days?

I'm still in law school, so most of my books are for school!

What are some of your go-to bath and/or shower products?

When I have time to take a bath, I've been loving using the Kylie Cosmetics' Lavender Bath Collection. I light the Lavender Candle for a relaxing aroma and always make sure to drop in a Lavender Bath Bomb for an extra boost of scent.

To exfoliate my body, one of my go-tos is the C & The Moon Malibu Made Body Scrub. It's gentle on skin and smells great.

Do you have a favorite hand sanitizer, soap, and/or cream right now?

I love the Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer, and so do my children! The packaging is so cute, and it doesn't leave your hands sticky. They also have great scents that aren't overpowering.

What beauty or self-care products do you use on a regular basis to help combat Zoom fatigue?

I'm obsessed with our SKKN by Kim Eye Cream. It reduces puffiness and fine lines around the eye, and instantly makes me look more well rested. The formula contains three peptides that work together to stimulate collagen production, and hyaluronic acid to alleviate dryness, so it's really moisturizing and preserves elasticity.

And to give my skin extra radiance, I mix a pump of our Face Cream with our Oil Drops—they're developed with a highly stable, active form of vitamin C to even out the complexion while giving the glow of a lifetime. I also love the Kylie Cosmetics Lip and Cheek Glow Balm. It's my new favorite cream blush! It's so easy to apply and melts into skin. I also dab it on my lips when I want to add a subtle dash of color.

Do you ever light a candle or stick of incense to decompress? If so, what are some of your favorites?

I love Diptyque's Gardénia candle—gardenia is one of my favorite fragrances. I burn it throughout my house, and it makes my home smell so lovely and fresh.

What was the last beauty product you put on today?

I just used the Makeup by Mario MoistureGlow Plumping Lip Serum. I love its dewy, shiny finish.

Are you into bold makeup, no makeup, or no-makeup makeup right now, and why?

It's so funny; since I've become a mom, I've really pared down my makeup routine, but my skin care routine has gotten longer! I find that nighttime is the most important time for me to do my full regimen. The SKKN by Kim Night Oil is a great hydrating recovery treatment that revitalizes skin overnight and helps me wake up with even, radiant skin. As I've gotten older, I've gotten a lot more comfortable with a more natural, makeup-free look, but I still love when I get to do full glam!

What's the last fitness class you streamed or attended in person?

I exercise most mornings with my trainer, and we really focus on weight training. I also love working out with my sisters, so we might be able to count that as a mini class!

What's one piece of self-care advice you'd recommend to our readers?

I think it's so important to carve out time to do something nice for yourself—when I get busy, it can be easy to go months without taking the time for self-care. Now, I try to make sure I'm making time for those moments, whether it's a facial or a massage to relax, or taking a social media break to help clear my mind.
