This year, a number of restaurants are celebrating all veterans, active duty military, and gold star family members by treating them to a free meal on Memorial Day, which falls on Monday, May 27. To help you with your lunch and dinner plans, we’ve rounded up all the best deals across the U.S., from Potbelly Sandwich’s Buy One Get One deal on sandwiches and salads to Logan Roadhouse’s free entree and sides from the American Roadhouse Meals menu.

TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays' Memorial Day special is perfect for family reunions and backyard barbecues because both the party platters and the family meal boxes are fifteen percent off this year, Food & Wine reported. You could get a platter of boneless wings or mozzarella sticks, or maybe your guests would prefer the family meal boxes of chicken caesar wraps and sweet potato fries. According to Food & Wine, Potbelly is offering veterans and active military members a BOGO deal on sandwiches, salads, and “pick-your-pair” on May 26 and 27.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is celebrating Memorial Day with a BOGO meal deal. Invite a veteran, active duty service member or Gold Star to lunch or dinner on May 27 and they get a complimentary entree equal to or less than yours.

Hooters

While Hooters normally offers a 20 percent military discount on Tuesdays and a 10% military discount on Mondays, this Memorial Day, current and former U.S. military members can get a free entree with a drink purchase. On the Hooters Memorial Day Menu this year are 10-piece traditional wings, 10-piece boneless wings, a buffalo chicken sandwich, and more.

Logan’s Roadhouse

Active duty service members and veterans who go to Logan’s Roadhouse between 3 P.M. and 6 P.M. on May 27 can enjoy a free meal from the American Roadhouse Meals menu. The deal comes with one entree — BBQ Grilled Pork Chop, Smothered Roast Beef, Chopped Steak, and more — and two side dishes.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks

This Memorial Day, McCormick & Schmick’s is treating Gold Star parents and spouses, veterans, and active members of the U.S. Military and National Guard to a complimentary lunch or dinner. Bring your ID and you can get one free entree from their special Memorial Day menu, which includes salmon rigatoni, parmesan-crusted chicken, and tender beef medallions.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Military veterans and active duty personnel will get their meal for half off on May 27, and up to three of their guests can get 10% off.


Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub

Veterans and active duty military who purchase a meal this Memorial Day can get another one for free from the “9 Real Size Entrees for $9.99 Menu.” Bring a military ID or proof of service to have your pick of grilled pork ribeye steak, braised short rib tacos, and garlic parmesan chicken mac & cheese, and please note that beverage, tax, and tip are not included in the deal.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill

Military and veterans who buy an entree at Rubio’s Coastal Grill on May 27 can get another one of equal or greater value. Bring this coupon and a military ID to enjoy the free meal.

Texas de Brazil

If you’re active duty military or a veteran, you can get 50% off your Texas de Brazil dinner from May 27-29. Bring up to eight non-military guests and they will each get 20% off their meal, too.

Twin Peaks Sports Bar & Restaurant

Twin Peaks has a free select menu for active duty military and veterans Memorial Day. The deal is only available at participating restaurants.
