There's no secret formula for recovering from bad romances, broken hearts, or betrayal but if you take steps every day to move forward you will find yourself changing, growing, and becoming a better you. "Once you see yourself in this new light and act accordingly you will attract a different kind of person—one who can appreciate that," says psychologist Paul Coleman, PsyD, author of Finding Peace When Your Heart Is in Pieces. "And if you do not yet find true love, believing the best about yourself will create a life that has greater meaning and satisfaction. When you see yourself as you truly are—worthwhile and a force for good—you can be patient for events to unfold the way you wish them to."
