Mules have become somewhat of a fashionable mainstay over the years—no longer a trendy footwear item but a true closet classic. The styling opportunities are endless thanks to their ease and effortless nature that elevates any look. Defined by their backless design, the best mule shoes can be slipped on and off—no tedious lacing or buckles required—and generally make for great, transitional footwear that can be worn throughout the seasons (yes, even winter, depending on what climate you live in).

Due to the nature of the backless design, it’s important to choose mules that are supportive, comfortable, and create stability while in action—to avoid any possible foot injuries. To this end, we tapped three experts who have taken the below styles for a test drive to ensure you’re walking on air from here on out. From open-toe to closed styles, flats, kitten shapes, and heels, these are the 20 best mules for every occasion.

Best Overall: Everlane Day Mule

See at Everlane.com

What We Love: The leather fabrication is made mindfully.

What We Don’t Love: They are probably not best for extensively long walks.

Everlane’s Day Mule has become somewhat of an insider’s pick when it comes to mules. The brand is known for its everyday basics that are easy to wear, affordable, and made with high-quality materials that are built to last—and this includes its footwear. Those in the know understand just what makes these mules so good. Crafted from Leather Working Group-certified leather, the soft and supple Nappa molds well to the foot over time, while adhering to eco-friendly production processes. Customers gravitate towards this style due to the wearable, flat shape. Designed with only a 0.4-inch, circular-shaped heel, these mules won’t impair your day.

Endlessly versatile, these can be paired with your favorite jeans and T-shirt combination for a casual approach, a cropped work pant, and even a full skirt for a summer’s night out. Also, don’t sleep on the woven combination that has a similar, braided look to rattan—the perfect answer to a closed-toe, summer shoe.

Material: Nappa leather | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 0.4 inch

Best Clog: Birkenstock Women's Boston Soft Footbed Clog

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Backcountry.com

What We Love: The contoured footbed provides unparalleled support.

What We Don’t Love: There are no half sizes available.

The Birkenstock Boston clog is something of a favorite amongst fashionistas and comfort-prone enthusiasts alike. The style has been available since the 1970s and has been able to withstand the changes of time and numerous fashion cycles based on its simplistic design and extremely comfortable feel. The soft suede variation provides an easy choice for all-year wear—it can be worn during warm weather months barefoot and layered with socks and hosiery when the colder seasons come. It also has excellent absorption properties. The shoe adapts to the wearer's foot, with a contoured, cork-latex footbed that molds the shape over time with wear. A fully adjustable, buckle front allows your unique foot width to be serviced, as well.

Keep styling simple with this one: Wear this pair with your favorite, baggy jeans or denim cut-off shorts and a clean top, a cotton poplin maxi dress, or even a wide-leg, cargo pant for a few modern outfit ideas to get you started.

Material: Leather, synthetic sole, cork | Size: EU36–EU42 | Colors: 7 | Heel Height: 1 inch

Most Comfortable: Vionic Starling Mule

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Hsn.com

What We Love: This style is offered in half sizes for a close fit.

What We Don’t Love: Many customers noted that these run narrow.

Comfort is often a factor to consider when wearing mules. Foot and ankle surgeon Dr. Nancy Artis tells InStyle that you don’t have to miss out on investing in this shoe shape if you have foot problems; there are plenty of comfortable and stable options out there. One recommendation from Dr. Artis is Vionic’s Starling mule. “This mule is designed for arch support and comfort,” she says. “It has a cushioned insole and a rubber outsole for traction.” The EVA footbed is built with the brand’s signature Vio-Motion technology, which hugs the arches for maximum comfort and support, while also proven to be beneficial in treating heel pain.

The slip-on, leather loafer style has a modern, pulled-together feel, with a chain buckle detail on the front tab, giving it a bit of fashionable flair. Dr. Artis suggests trying the cream leather colorway for a twist on the classics, however black and camel are also available, should you prefer.

Material: Leather, synthetic lining and sole | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 3 | Heel Height: 0.5 inch

Best for Date Night: Steve Madden Glimmer Rhinestones

See at Stevemadden.com

What We Love: It’s a statement for under $100.

What We Don’t Love: It is not made with real leather.

“A flat mule is always needed for those more chill and casual days,” content creator Nazsare English says. However, Steve Madden’s Glimmer Rhinestone mules are sure to elevate any outfit. The shoe’s shape is quite simple—featuring a rounded, closed-toe design with a flat sole that is easy to slip on and off. However, the allover, rhinestone-encrusted detailing truly makes this option stand out. The clear, round gemstones give an extremely luxe feeling while maintaining a surprisingly wearable vibe when paired with simple ready-to-wear items.

Whether worn for a casual event or something dressier in nature, English recommends keeping your overall look minimal. “My favorite way to style mules in this style is with a nice pair of denim and a simple shirt,” English explains. “I let the shoes do all the talking.” We recommend an oversized, white button-down top and relaxed, straight-leg jeans for daytime and a fitted T-shirt and mini skirt for evening.

Material: Vegan leather, stones, synthetic sole | Size: 5–12 | Colors: 1 | Heel Height: 0.5 inch

Best Pointed-Toe: Totême The Leather Mule Pumps

See at Luisaviaroma.com

See at Net-a-porter.com

What We Love: It has a walkable heel height.

What We Don’t Love: The taupe color may get dirtier easier.

If you haven’t discovered the simplicity of Stockholm-based brand Totême, you are in for a treat. Its contemporary take on the mule shoe is one of fashion stylist and content creator Marina Ingvarsson’s favorites. “Totême's 55-millimeter leather mule pumps are seriously perfect if you’re after something stylish yet comfy,” she says. “This cute, kitten heel is great for all-day wear and the leather feels super luxe.” The pointed toe and cone-shaped heel add even more interest detail-wise, giving the shoe a modern twist—and since it’s not a stiletto, it will be comfortable all day.

When it comes to styling, Ingvarsson believes them to be extremely versatile, as well. “They go with pretty much everything—a total win for both work and going out!” she says. Try pairing these mules with a silk blouse and midi skirt for the office, and a crisp button-down and cropped jeans for an easy, dinner-out look.

Material: Cow leather | Size: EU35–EU42 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 2.1 inches

Best for Work: Dansko Leora Slip-On Mules

See at Amazon.com

See at Zappos.com

What We Love: The lining is made from a textile with odor control.

What We Don’t Love: This shoe only comes in one colorway.

Dansko is known for making supportive and comfortable shoes, thanks to the signature Natural Arch technology, which ensures a busy day on your feet doesn’t have to be painful. Not only is the brand recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association, but the Leora mule gets our expert foot surgeon’s stamp of approval, as well. “This shoe features a round-toe, low, stacked heel, and arch support technology for all-day comfort,” Dr. Artis explains. “It is made of leather and has a slip-on construction.” Sweaty feet will be no match for these shoes either, thanks to a chrome-free, leather sock lining that promotes breathability, combined with the anti-odor properties of the lining fabric.

Classic design properties were not left out of the equation, either. The slip-on mimics the shape of a loafer, making it office-appropriate, and the chain link hardware across the vamp adds a stylish touch. Wear with your favorite shirt dress, suit set, or a boatneck tee and cropped jeans, if your office is that of the casual environment.

Material: Leather, rubber sole | Size: 5.5/6–11.5/12 | Colors: 1 | Heel Height: 0.7 inch

Best Budget: Dream Paris High Stiletto Heels

See at Dreampairshoes.com

What We Love: Reviewers say they’re comfortable.

What We Don’t Love: There is a discrepancy among reviewers on whether the footbed runs wide or narrow.

“We all need our go-to mule—the shoe that will dress up any outfit,” English says. Dream Paris’ high stiletto heel is that shoe for her. Not only is it a fashion-forward design, it is also an extremely budget-friendly option. The wide, cushioned strap has a folded effect that won’t rub or uncomfortably dig into your foot. A padded footbed made from a thick, latex material adds even more stability and additional ease to the ball of foot, while the shape of the arch supports during walking and standing. Although this has a higher stiletto heel, customers unanimously agree that they are surprisingly able to withstand hours of wear without pain.

There are a few neutral color options to choose from, such as black and white, but English recommends taking the baby blue version for a spin. “You can wear these pop-of-color mules with fun trousers, sleek denim, or a whimsical dress,” she notes.

Material: Polyurethane, leather, synthetic rubber | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 4 | Heel Height: 3.3 inches

Best Splurge: Prada Square Toe Satin Mules

See at Bergdorfgoodman.com

See at Farfetch.com

What We Love: The architectural design is very modern.

What We Don’t Love: There is no padded footbed.

“My top pick would be the Prada satin mules—effortlessly blending simplicity with elegance,” says Ingvarsson. “Featuring a square-toed, kitten heel and a 35-millimeter architectural heel reminiscent of the iconic Prada triangle, they offer a timeless yet modern aesthetic that perfectly complements any look.” Although these are an investment, they’re one of the major shoes of the season, straight from the runway. Prada’s renowned quality makes these even more splurge-worthy.

The satin fabrication allows the shoe to transcend the seasons since it’s a fabric that makes sense all year, while also easily transitioning looks from day to night. These will work just as well with a button down, trouser pants, and a structured bag during the day, as they will with a fun, mini dress and sparkly earrings for a night out. We love the black colorway thanks to its styling versatility, truly giving you the most value for your buck.

Material: Satin, leather, viscose | Size: IT34–IT41 | Colors: 4 | Heel Height: 1.37 inches

Best Leather: Staud Wally Mid-Heel Mules

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Bloomingdales.com

What We Love: The shoe’s minimalist look is easy to wear and style.

What We Don’t Love: This shoe sells out quickly.

If you are looking for a transitional shoe to wear between the seasons, Staud’s Wally mule is just that. The inspiration for this shoe comes from the brand’s best-selling boot of the same name—so if you are a fan of those, these will be perfect for you during warmer months, as well. A pro-pick amongst east and west coasters alike, due to its walkable heel and closed-toe fit, the mule works perfectly as a complimentary accessory through spring and fall. It can even be paired with hosiery when a little extra warmth is needed—we recommend a sheer black sock.

“These mules feature a trendy, square-toe and a walkable 1.75-inch heel with a wider base for stability,” Dr. Artis explains. “They’re made from leather, which allows for some stretch in the front, for increased comfort.” You might just be surprised at how high-quality the leather on these is, especially for the contemporary category for the price point.

Material: Leather, rubber sole | Size: 5–12 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 1.75 inches

Best Open-Toe: Veronica Beard Georgie Sandal

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Lyst.com

What We Love: The woven strap is unique and fashion-forward.

What We Don’t Love: Suede is sometimes harder to clean than smooth leather.

“Playing with different textures is always a fun way to mix things up!” says English, who loves the look of Veronica Beard’s Georgie sandals. Made from soft suede, the slip-on shape features a two-strap design, one woven vamp, and one plain lower strap. The higher, 3-inch stacked heel will give some height to those who want but remain walkable. “That block heel will give you all the comfort!” she says. A cushioned footbed means comfort is top of mind, also providing a bit of stability so that the foot won’t shift while in movement, either.

English recommends wearing these for a spring brunch date, but they will serve you just as well at outdoor events, warm-weather weddings, and dinners al fresco. Style yours with a floaty, floral dress for your next garden party, or a full-skirted, cotton midi dress to play with proportions. Pro tip: they also look great with jeans.

Material: Calfskin, leather, suede, rubber heel cap | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 3 | Heel Height: 3 inches

Most Versatile: Coach Renn Pointed Toe Mule

See at Amazon.com

See at Macys.com

What We Love: The shoe is available in half sizes.

What We Don’t Love: Customers noted that these ran slightly small and narrow.

Reminiscent of an iconic, ‘90s shape with a slip-on silhouette, a pointed toe, and a walkable, curved heel, similar styles were worn by stylish figures such as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy or Gwyneth Paltrow throughout the decade. Coach’s version is made from its infamous, high-standard leather that’s known to wear well over time. The 2.5-inch heel height won’t break your ankle either, but still provides a bit of height with a polished feel to elongate the leg.

They can truly be worn with just about anything, as well. “You can rock them with tailored pants for work or dress them down with jeans for a chill look,” Ingvarsson says. Keep things in the minimalist realm though, to truly channel the classicism of the decade they were inspired by. She recommends the clean, black leather, but they also come in various other fun colors and fabrics, from satin to jacquard.

Material: Leather, man-made sole | Size: 5–10 | Colors: 4 | Heel Height: 2.5 inches

Best Square-Toe: Naturalizer Kayden 3 Mule

See at Dsw.com

See at Macys.com

What We Love: There is no rating below a 4-star on Amazon.

What We Don’t Love: The shoe only comes in two colorways.

Another closed-toe, loafer-style on our best-loved list is Naturalizer’s Kayden 3 mule. Dr. Artis recommends this shoe because of the numerous design details this style offers, which focus on comfort and support. “This is a budget-friendly option with a classic silhouette, square-toe, and a heel height of 0.66 inches,” she explains. “It has a synthetic upper and a lightly padded footbed.” When it comes to stability, the proof is in the signature, Contour+ Comfort technology that has become what the brand’s repeat customers keep coming back for.

Although this one is made from faux leather, the look is just as good as the real thing. It has a seriously chic look that is extremely versatile to wear. Try pairing with a knit dress, a leather pant, or even a utilitarian jumpsuit for some unexpected ways of styling.

Material: Synthetic, polyurethane | Size: 6–11 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 0.66 inches

Best for Summer: Tony Bianco Tropic Mule

See at Revolve.com

What We Love: The leather upper is soft and light.

What We Don’t Love: They don’t come in sizes above a woman's 10.

Is there anything more quintessential when it comes to summer footwear than a flip-flop? However, this is not your average thong style. Tony Bianco’s Tropic mule is a slip-on with serious style points. “A vacation mule is always necessary for the warmer months,” English says. “I love this one because it’s a low-profile heel, which means they’ll be perfect to wear throughout the entire day.” The 1.5-inch kitten heel makes long days on your feet a breeze, whether that be the cobblestone streets of that quaint, European town you are vacationing in or your workplace on a summer Friday. The soft leather fabrication won’t cause chafing, either.

Styling these is equally as effortless. Pair with a billowy, wide-leg linen trouser and matching, oversized button-down for lunch by the sea, a pencil skirt for the office, and tailored shorts for drinks with friends this summer. They’re also extremely easy to pack for any trip.

Material: Leather, manmade sole | Size: 5–10 | Colors: 3 | Heel Height: 1.5 inches

Best Chunky: Loewe Terra Foam Clogs

See at Saksfifthavenue.com

What We Love: It’s an under-$500 style from a designer name.

What We Don’t Love: The brand’s shoes are said to run small.

“I absolutely love mule clogs,” Ingvarsson tells us. “They have this effortlessly cool vibe that just elevates any outfit.” Her pick happens to be a very buzzy shoe, as well, that walked the runway of one of our fashion team’s favorite brands. Loewe’s Terra clogs are made from extra light, foam rubber, giving off a unique, space-age look. “What draws me in is the unique blend of classic clog comfort with a touch of edgy design,” she says. Creative Director Jonathan Anderson certainly always finds a way to take the facets of a traditional shoe and add a fresh twist that somehow still feels wearable.

“They're perfect for slipping on quickly but still looking put-together, whether I'm heading out to meet friends or just running errands,” Ingvarsson adds. “Plus, the craftsmanship is amazing—every detail feels special.” Try with a trench and long skirt for a modern, spring look that has serious cool points.

Material: Synthetic, leather | Size: EU35–EU41 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 3.5 inches

Best Suede: Zara Heeled Suede Mules

See at Zara.com

What We Love: The under-$100 price tag is unheard of for real suede.

What We Don’t Love: The light-colored suede might be harder to keep clean.

Dr. Artis recommends this pointed-toe option from Zara if you are looking for something heeled. The heel measuring 2.4 inches is compliant with her sweet spot suggestion of what to look for when shopping for mules. It’s also made from 100 percent goat leather suede that is soft and pliable, allowing some molding to the foot’s natural form with wear. The shape is classic and stylish, and will be a go-to for both dressed-up outfits—think a silky, slip dress, blazer, and drop earrings combination for a formal event—or a casual brunch with jeans, a knitted tank top, and hoops.

A word to the wise: “Make sure to try them on and walk around in them before purchasing, considering the pointed toe,” Dr. Artis notes. Sometimes with a pointed-toe shoe shape, you might need to try multiple sizes to ensure the right fit.

Material: Goat leather, polyurethane | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 2.4 inches

Best High-Heel: Voleece Studded Heeled Mules

See at Amazon.com

What We Love: The price is very budget-friendly.

What We Don’t Love: They’re made with faux suede, as opposed to the real thing.

We’ve certainly seen a revival in all things Y2K-inspired, and that includes the pointy-toe mule shoe that saw its rise in the early aughts. “Having a pair that can speak to the current trends is always fun!” English says, in regards to another one of her picks. “It’s even better when you can get the look for less.” Voleece’s studded heel has metal grommet detailing and a little ribbon that hits the nail on the head of the trend-forward feel. Customers were very pleased with the fit, comfort level, and look of these mules.

When it comes to styling, you can take the full-on, trend route by pairing these with a low-rise, bootcut jean and a hobo bag, or take it towards a modern direction with a blazer, fitted tank, and straight-leg jeans. Either way, these mules are a fun addition to any closet.

Material: Faux suede, rubber | Size: 5–12 | Colors: 6 | Heel Height: 3.54 inches

Best Color: Lucasheva Patent Leather Red Mules

See at Lucasheva.com

What We Love: The curved heel is very modern-looking.

What We Don’t Love: Sizing is limited.

Ingvarsson is always on the hunt for up-and-coming brands and this bold, patent red mule is one of the best she has found. “I recently stumbled upon this cool brand called Lucasheva,” she recalls. “The mules are seriously some of the best out there, with unique designs, and a super modern look that's totally in right now.” Cherry red is having a major moment with the fashion crowd at the moment, but it’s truly a color that is always in season. The hourglass-shaped heel and pointed toe just add even more oomph to the statement-making shoe. However, if you prefer something more neutral, the brand also makes this style in black patent and metallic silver and gold.

If you are a minimalist, try wearing this with blue jeans and a white shirt, for an easy, everyday look with a bit of spice. A full monochrome red look, head-to-toe, is also a great way to work the bright hue.

Material: Leather | Size: EU36–EU40 | Colors: 5 | Heel Height: 2.1 inches

Best Flat: Cole Haan Chelby Mule

See at Colehaan.com

What We Love: Multiple layers of cushion provide extreme comfort.

What We Don’t Love: They’re only available in a medium width.

Flat shoes can sometimes be just as uncomfortable as heels. If the shoe is not designed properly with ample support, then you are bound to find a whole slew of other foot problems, different from those of stilettos. Cole Haan’s Chelby mule was designed with multiple layers of foam, one of the benefits that Dr. Artis calls out, creating a lush, cushioned feel that will absorb the shock of unstable environments underfoot. The fully molded, rubber outsole offers traction, as well, across various landscapes. “They’re also made of leather so they should provide some give and come in black and white colors,” she says. The leather also happens to be responsibly manufactured, which is monitored by the Leather Working Group.

The cute design has a classic, penny loafer feel—only backless, of course. Wear them with khaki pants and a woven, knit polo top for a preppy spin on warm days, or a T-shirt and distressed jeans for an easy, everyday outfit for running errands.

Material: Leather, foam, rubber | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 2 | Heel Height: 1 inch

Best Leather-Alternative: Dolce Vita Kaline Raffia Pointed Toe Mule

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Lyst.com

What We Love: The stylish design is great for warm weather.

What We Don’t Love: Raffia is not waterproof.

Who doesn’t love accessories made from raffia in the summer? Of course, you probably already have your Jane Birkin-inspired straw bag and a sun hat to shade you from the harmful rays at the beach or poolside, but what about a shoe? Dolce Vita’s Kaline mule is a modern way to lean into the natural material. This flat, pointed-toe shoe has an extra strap across the foot for fashionable flair, as well as to keep this style set while in wear, providing stability while in movement.

Choose from three different colors—including onyx black, light natural, and ivory. They are sure to dress up any warm weather outfit—from fluid palazzo pajama sets to gauzy, maxi skirts and linen shirt dresses. Just be sure to not wear these on days when there might be rain in the forecast. The straw raffia material might not fare well when wet.

Material: Raffia, synthetic | Size: 5–13 | Colors: 3 | Heel Height: 0.4 inch

Best Fashion-Forward: Larroudé Blair Patent Mary Jane Mule

See at Nordstrom.com

See at Bloomingdales.com

What We Love: They come in six colors.

What We Don’t Love: Patent leather sometimes scuffs easily.

If you haven’t invested in the Mary Jane shoe trend yet, or are looking for a replacement to your closed-heel pair you’ve been wearing all spring that is warm weather-friendly (after all, backless, provides more airflow and ventilation for the foot), consider Larroudé’s Blair mule. Made from patent leather, it has a slightly vintage feel thanks to the circular buckle strap detail on top. The brand is known for its comfortable feel, and these are no exception. The insole is cushioned with memory foam for stability and support and the high-quality leather fabrication is made to last and highly durable.

Try styling these with a cute mini skirt and top combo, a tailored vest and short set, or even a structured sundress for ample ways to wear. Start with the black and go from there. The tan and white tones will work well in the summertime, too.

Material: Leather, memory foam | Size: 5–11 | Colors: 6 | Heel Height: 0.5 inch

What to Keep in Mind

  • Material: “Mules come in all sorts of materials, but for maximum comfort and foot health, prioritize options with breathability and flexibility,” Dr. Artis suggests. “Leather or breathable synthetics are great choices.” She recommends avoiding overly stiff materials that could rub or cause blisters. “Remember, when walking it should feel easy. You should not feel as if you’re going to fall out of your shoe,” she says.

  • Heel Height: “While platform soles and kitten heels are common features of mules, from a foot health perspective, a low to moderate heel (think 2-3 inches) is ideal,” Dr. Artis notes. “This reduces stress on the balls of your feet and keeps your posture more balanced.” Ingvarsson also gravitates towards a kitten heel, to avoid any slips or ankle twists. “I pay close attention to the height of the heel, particularly with open-back shoes, to ensure I can walk comfortably and safely,” she says. And English tells us her sweet spot when it comes to heel height, is 3 inches or shorter.

  • Footbed: “Look for a mule with a supportive footbed that contours slightly to your arch,” Dr. Artis recommends. “This provides stability and helps prevent fatigue, especially if you plan on wearing your mules for extended periods.” The footbed is also a key factor for Ingvarsson. “I always check for a cushioned sole in mules because it decides how comfortable they'll be,” she says. “It's super important to see how they hold up throughout the day, so you know they're not just comfy when you try them on, but they stay comfy.”

Your Questions, Answered

Are mules good for your feet?

“Mules are so ‘in’ right now, and we love how they can instantly elevate any outfit,” says Dr. Artis. “However, from a foot health perspective, they don't offer the same level of support as a closed-back shoe.” Because mules lack a heel strap or full enclosure, there is a great chance for foot slips, while fastly walking or running. Thus, Dr. Artis stresses the importance of a good fit to avoid injuries. “Look for a pair that hugs your foot securely without pinching,” she notes. “And remember, mules are best suited for short-term wear. If you love the look but need more support for all-day activities, consider loafers or slingbacks, which offer similar vibes with a more secure fit.”

Should mules fit tightly or loosely?

Finding a good balance is important. “You want them to feel snug and secure, but not constricting your toes or pinching your heels,” Dr. Artis explains. There must be some sort of middle ground. “A loose mule can lead to blisters or make you clench your toes to grip the shoe, which isn't ideal for long-term wear,” she says. “On the other hand, a tight mule can cause pain, and pressure, and even contribute to foot deformities like corns or hammertoes.” Since neither scenario is ideal, be sure to try out the mules with an extended test drive.

English also stresses the importance of the width of the shoe. “Being mindful of how wide or narrow your foot is will allow you to find the perfect mule and ensure the comfort is on point,” she says. Ingvarsson agrees. “It should fit like a charm—snug, not tight, ensuring your foot doesn’t slip out as you walk,” she suggests. “Aim for sleek comfort that lets you move effortlessly and stylishly.”

How do you recommend styling mules?

“Mules are incredibly versatile, allowing for endless styling possibilities,” Ingvarsson says. She recommends pairing them with a denim midi skirt or wide-leg jeans and a simple, white tee for a chic and minimalist ensemble, that exudes effortless coolness. “For a sophisticated twist, consider dressing up your mules with tailored elements, such as a sharp suit vest paired with a sleek maxi skirt,” she adds. English suggests incorporating them with whatever feels good to you personally. “Some days I might enjoy a clog style mule for running errands and on another hand, you can catch me styling up a trendy pair of mules for date night or catching up with the girls for brunch,” she says. The styling options are endless.
