As more travelers opt for simplified, stress-free vacations, the number of all-inclusive hotels and resorts is increasing, with properties for every travel style, budget, and destination. Many major hotel brands — including Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt — are adding all-inclusive properties to their portfolios. Travel + Leisure discussed the growing all-inclusive trend with Erica Doyne, senior vice president of global marketing and communications of the Inclusive Collection at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. According to Doyne, “Travelers right now are focused on three components when planning a getaway: luxury, convenience, and access to amenities and culturally authentic activities.”

Erica Doyne is the senior vice president of global marketing and communications for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation Inclusive Collection, which includes over 100 resorts across 10 brands.

“The Inclusive Collection, with more than 100 resorts globally, is the largest portfolio of luxury all-inclusive resorts in the world,” said Doyne. “We continue to grow our share of guests and loyalty by offering something for travelers at each stage of life.” Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolio includes 10 brands: Impression by Secrets, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts, Alua Hotels & Resorts, and Sunscape Resorts & Spas.

“Each brand in the Inclusive Collection has been thoughtfully concepted and designed to provide curated experiences for travelers — from adults-only escapes tucked into romantic settings to vibrant social atmospheres, family-friendly resorts, and everything in between,” Doyne told T+L.

Impression by Secrets is the newest brand in the Inclusive Collection, focusing on the highest level of personalized service and amenities. Other brands that cater to adults include Hyatt Zilara, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, and Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, offering elevated wellness experiences in a boutique setting. Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts, expected to debut in 2024, will offer couples, friends, and solo travelers locally inspired itineraries. Family-friendly brands in the Inclusive Collection portfolio include Hyatt Ziva, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Sunscape Resorts & Spas, and Alua Hotels & Resorts.

Doyne commented on the value of The World of Hyatt loyalty program, saying “Guests can earn points for Hyatt experiences — from resort stays to dining —  and redeem their points for free nights and suite upgrades, as well as achieve exceptional benefits like late checkouts and bonus points. The program has led the Inclusive Collection portfolio to earn significant loyalty from guests as they continue to return to experience the unique amenities and offerings while earning and redeeming points in the process.”

Additional Inclusive Collection resorts are expected to debut by the end of 2023, and in 2024, openings are planned in Greece, the Dominican Republic, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Mexico.
