“1000-Lb. Sisters”’ Tammy Slaton Thinks She’s Pregnant Due to Unusual Water Craving: 'You’re Just Thirsty B—' (Exclusive)

“I know being bigger has disadvantages with sex, but I can do anything if I put my mind to it,” Tammy says in PEOPLE’s exclusive clip of ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’

Tammy Slaton is thinking about the possibility of having a baby after her significant weight loss.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, the 37-year-old is joined by her sister Amy Slaton during a visit with Dr. Cindy Basinski, board certified OB/GYN.

“I wanna see if I can conceive,” Tammy tells her doctor. “I wanna make sure everything’s healthy down there. I had an IUD put in… it needed to be taken out in 2016. So it’s still in.”

“Tammy’s had an IUD in there for like 12 years. I’m like, are you sure it ain’t permanently attached now? Did it absorb? Can they find it?” Amy, 36, says while laughing. “I think it’s got a permanent place of residence. It said, ‘B— I’ve been here for 12 years, I ain’t moving.’”

Basinski explains the health problems that could arise from Tammy keeping her IUD in place for so long, especially if trying to have a baby. Tammy admits she never went to the doctor to have it removed because she was so overweight.

In the clip, Basinski then asks if Tammy and her husband Caleb Willingham are sexually active when the reality star timidly shakes her head and notes that Willingham is out of the state and lives in Ohio at the rehab facility where they first met. (Note: This episode was filmed before Caleb Willingham died in June 2023)

“I know being bigger has disadvantages with sex, but I can do anything if I put my mind to it,” Tammy quips. “I’m handi-capable, not handicapped.”

Basinski follows up by asking Tammy when her last period was, to which she says she doesn’t even remember.

“There could be a slight chance I might be pregnant now,” Tammy proclaims. “I’ve been craving weird things that I’m not normally craving…like water. I’m craving water.”

Both Basinski and Amy look confused at Tammy in silence after her response.

“B— you ain’t pregnant you’re thirsty,” Amy quips. “You’re just thirsty, b—. Go drink you some water.”

A new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters airs Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 9PM ET/PT.
