'1000-Lb Sisters' Star Confuses Fans With Tribute to Ex Amid Divorce

Slaton chose an eyebrow-raising song to accompany a pic of her 'little family.'

Could Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman be on the road to reconciliation?

Fans found themselves asking this very question after Slaton's surprising social media behavior this week. For starters, Slaton finally broke her social media silence after news of Halterman's recent filing for divorce in Kentucky on March 13.

Slaton was unexpectedly chipper in her Instagram post on March 26, writing alongside a sun-soaked pic, "Watching a beautiful sunset with some amazing friends."

The 1000-Lb Sisters star took to social media again on March 28, this time posting to TikTok a throwback photo of herself, Halterman, and their two sons, Gage and Glenn.

"Pic of my little family at Tammy['s] wedding," she wrote, as well as had "ily (i love you baby)" by Surf Mesa playing in the background.

Unsurprisingly, this prompted fans to speculate about the state of Slaton's divorce. One follower commented, "If they were divorcing, the last thing she'd do is upload a video and title [it] 'My little family,' so now I'm confused."

Another chimed in, "Amy - we're all hoping for the best for you and Michael." A third shared, "Why is everyone saying you're divorced? I'm confused."

An additional fan highlighted, "People can file for a divorce and not go through with it."

While Slaton has yet to comment on the reconciliation speculation, it's been reported that the duo has had marital troubles since the birth of their youngest child.

According to a February report by The Sun, Slaton moved out of her and Halterman's shared home in Kentucky, with a source noting, "Amy says Michael is lazy and has been jealous of her attention toward the kids."

The insider added, "They've been having trouble since last year."

So, have Slaton and Halterman reunited? Only time will tell.
