'1000-Lb Sisters' Star Amy Slaton Officially Confirms Relationship Status Amid Divorce

The TLC personality revealed where she stands with estranged husband Michael Halterman.

Amy Slaton wants the world to know she is single.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star officially confirmed her relationship status via her TikTok account. Specifically, Slaton changed up her bio, noting for the world to see, "I'm just a single mom of two wonderful boys."

This declaration comes after Slaton confused her fans by sharing a heartwarming throwback photo that featured herself, estranged husband Michael Halterman and their two sons, Gage and Glenn.

The throwback also curiously had "ily (i love you baby)" by Surf Mesa playing in the background.

However, it seems Slaton's divorce is proceeding forward, with the reality TV star embracing her single status more and more. Case in point: On April 2, Slaton shared a series of photos set to Reba McEntire's empowering anthem "I'm a Survivor."

For those who didn't catch Reba in the '00s, the theme song's lyrics are as follows: "A single mom who works two jobs, who loves her kids and never stops, with gentle hands and a heart of a fighter, I'm a survivor."

Halterman filed for divorce in Kentucky on March 13. And, according to The Sun, the former flames have been having problems for some time.

The divorce has allegedly taken a nasty turn, too, with a judge ordering the pair to "remain 500 feet from one another at all times," per the publication.

As for whether the breakup will play out on 1000-Lb Sisters season five, that remains unclear. TLC has not officially renewed or canceled the popular docu-series.

Nonetheless, you can catch up on Amy's journey, as well as her sister Tammy's, on discovery+.
