The NBA action on Christmas Day was good to sneakerheads.

More from Footwear News

The slate of games on Monday featured five highly competitive and exciting matchups, with some of basketball’s biggest names hitting the court, including LeBron James, Devin Booker, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and several others. And although leading performance basketball shoe brands have been less intentional with the promotion of Christmas-themed sneakers in recent years, hoopers continued to lace up festive looks in 2023.

Many of the top court-ready styles that appeared on the hardwood were from industry-leading brands such as Nike, New Balance, Jordan Brand, Adidas and more. They included inline styles (New Balance Two Wxy v4), current signature shoes (Nike LeBron 21, Curry 11, Nike Freak 5, Adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY), looks slated for a 2024 release (Nike Book 1) and more.

Also, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics debuted his second signature shoe with Jordan Brand, the Tatum 2, which will hit retail in early 2024. And 361 Degrees confirmed it had signed NBA champion Nikola Jokić to a signature shoe deal, and that the hooper would wear a high-top version of the Big3 Future until his sneaker debuts.

Here’s a look at 10 of the top sneakers worn by basketball’s biggest stars on Christmas Day.
