The $10 Nail Polish Jennifer Lopez Loves for a Fall-Inspired Manicure

Jennifer Lopez rocked gorgeous red nails that are perfect for fall.
Her nail artist Tom Bachik shared that the color was Essie Bordeaux Nail Polish.
He detailed how he applied the polish using a base coat, two coats of polish, a top coat, and cuticle oil.
From her liquid highlighter and glow serum for radiant skin, to her evening skincare routine, Jennifer Lopez is a beauty icon. But when the 53-year-old recently shared a stunning snap on her Instagram dressed in a Ralph Lauren striped dress to attend the designer’s fashion show, we couldn’t help but notice her stand-out nails. The deep red hue, Essie Bordeaux Nail Polish, is just $10 and makes for a great fall nail color.
A deep, moody red that pairs perfectly with your autumn wardrobe, we can see why Lopez loves the lacquer. Her long-time nail artist Tom Bachik shared additional snaps of the look on his personal Instagram page detailing the exact polish he used.
“Beautiful, classic, and minimalist was the vibe and nails needed to complete that look. We went with Essie's #424 Bordeaux to do just that,” he captioned the image. “Short, strong, natural shaped nails help the color pop. Paired with the Ralph Lauren black pinstripe dress and gold jewelry gave us timeless strength, sophistication, and style!”
Bachik explained in the caption that he began with a “meticulous mani,” followed by cleaning the natural nails and applying Essie’s First Base base coat. He then applied two thin, even coats of the polish color, let it dry for a couple of minutes, and then topped it with the Essie Gel Setter “to protect and create that high gloss, red carpet shine.” He finished her nails by rehydrating the cuticles and the skin with Essie Apricot Nail and Cuticle Oil.
The color provides a high gloss shine and finishes with super-strong durability to last through whatever life throws your way. The brand recommends starting with a cuticle oil, a base coat, then applying two coats of polish, and finishing with a top coat to seal.
