Good hair tips are like good hair ties—you can never have enough. Plus, when hairstylist Justine Marjan lays down some knowledge, you gotta get excited—her work on Khloé Kardashian, Kerry Washington, Chrissy Teigen, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum has put her on the list of today's most in-demand celebrity stylists. Plus, the North American brand ambassador for ghd is also one of the founding members of maneaddicts.com where she's currently a creative consultant. In other words, she's legit.

While we can't get you time in her chair, we can help you look like you snagged some, thanks to these 10 excellent tips she offered.

Tip 1) For an ultra-sleek bun like she created on Olivia Culpo:

It's all about prepping the hair to be as slicked-down as possible. Marjan says she always uses a flat iron on the roots, running it along the sections in the direction she intends to lay the hair.

Tip 2) For the piece-y texture that's now a Khloe Kardashian signature:

Marjan says "beachiness" requires two things. Wrapping the hair around a one-inch curling iron, leaving the bottom two inches straight and alternating the direction of the twist with every curl, and misting with OUAI Texturizing Hairspray, $26, post-styling to give it some grit.

Tip 3) For a perfect part (as seen on Real Housewives of Beverly Hill's Dorit Kemsley):

Do as she was telling her reality star client here: Smooth the hair on either side of your part with your fingers coated in hair gel (her pick: TRESemmé Tres Two Mega Sculpting Gel, $5). Don't go crazy here—a very light coating is all you need.

Tip 4) For a cool take on a braid like Underground star Jurnee Bell's:

"Adding a cornrow to the traditional topknot draws the eye up in a different way and can bring more attention to the cheekbones or brows," she suggests.

Tip 5) For flat iron waves like Dewan-Tatum's:

To get this not-so-perfect wave style, reach for a flat iron. Starting two or three inches blow the root, press the hair in the iron and give it a twist upwards. Then move the nozzle down and twist the hair downwards, alternating to create S-shaped waves. Her go-to iron: ghd Platiunum Styler, $249.

Tip 6) For volume like she gave Washington:

The secret here is to mix up some waves made with a flat iron with curls made with a one-inch-barrel curling iron to create two different textures that stack for volume.

Tip 7) For a wrapped look like Teigen's:

"The key to making it last is pinning [the ribbon] into the hair as you wrap it," she says. So every inch or so you go down the hair, stick another pin vertically into the back of the "tail."

8) For a perfect finish to a straight look like she gave Kim Kardashian:

To lock in the sleekness after flat-ironing, she says, "When I brush it out, I spray my brush with hairspray first for soft hold that’s never sticky."

Tip 9) For a banded look:

Simply twist gold wire around the fishtail braid every few inches to create a bubble effect. "Afterwards I pulled apart the braid with my fingers for lots of fullness."

Tip 10) For big curls:

For a fluffy texture, Marjan says to use a very slight back-combing motion as you brush out the curls (as shown in this clip). It pumps up body like you wouldn't believe.
