10 Best Dressed: Week of November 26, 2018

While the rest of us wonder what to wear to holiday parties, the world’s most stylish are in full red carpet mode, which this week meant lashings of fringe, florals, and sparkle. At the Governors Awards, Lupita Nyong’o (in Tom Ford) and Rosamund Pike (in Givenchy) gave a nod to the jazz age with fluttery sleeves and curvaceous shimmer. Lady Gaga and Zoe Kazan made volume and taffeta the star in Pierpaolo Piccioli’s modest masterpieces for Valentino. Phoebe Waller-Bridge blossomed in Richard Quinn, while Chloë Sevigny, in Chanel Haute Couture, gave a nod to ’80s opulence. And Danai Gurira (in Vivienne Westwood) and Emily Blunt (in Dundas) won the gold in . . . gold. Bring on awards season!
