10 Best Dressed: Week of July 30, 2018
The lazy, hazy days of summer were met with a retro approach to dressing up by the world’s most stylish. Hailey Baldwin was a punky Cher Horowitz (Clueless!) in strapless mini frock (by Bec & Bridge) and combat boots; Kendall Jenner (in Marques’Almeida) put an ’80s spin on toreador chic; and Sarah Paulson winked at the sock hop in Raf Simons for Calvin Klein. The minimalist ’90s turned up in the frill-free evening choices of Michelle Monaghan (in architectural, voluminous Rochas) and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in a jewel tone maxi slip from Rat & Boa). And beating the heat in timeless hot-weather white were Sasha Lane in a feather-trimmed ensemble (Preen) and Ruth Negga in this season’s must-have: the ruffle top (here by Ulla Johnson).
