We may drink our favorite coffee to power though hellish days at work and all-nighters, well, anywhere—but it turns out coffee has more to offer than a much-needed energy boost for us. New research shows men can use the caffeinated beverage to keep their sex lives percolating too.

A University of Texas study found that men who consume at least two cups of coffee had a lower risk of erectile dysfunction than non-drinkers. The most interesting part? The caffeine-powered effect worked regardless of their weight or blood pressure.

Researchers collected data from more than 3,700 men who answered questions about their caffeine intake over the prior 24 hours. Researchers found that the men needed to consume two to three cups of coffee in a 24-hour period to reduce their risk of erectile dysfunction. Why? Caffeine, the researchers determined, increases blow flood to male reproductive organs, as well as relaxing their arteries and muscles.

Our conclusion? Next time you’re feeling frisky, forget the wine. Cuddle up with a cup of coffee instead.
