Guide Dog In Training Loses His Cool When He Meets Pluto at Disneyland

To be fair, who doesn't love Pluto?

Disneyland proudly boasts that they're 'The Happiest Place on Earth,' and that certainly rang true for this precious guide dog in training.

In a video posted by Disney Works on Facebook, Ace, who is currently in training for Guide Dogs of America, temporarily loses all composure when he meets his idol, Pluto, for the first time.

Taken to Disneyland for a socialization experience, the yellow Lab was expected to follow proper guide dog protocols, but because he began training at the end of January, he had a bit to learn about remaining cool, calm, and collected, especially in the presence of one of his heroes.

His trainer, Sandy Steinblums, commented on the Facebook video saying, "What you didn't see after the 14-15 second video where he settled in a down was his down/stay for a few minutes while Pluto tried to break his stay."

Sure, Ace may not have aced his test perfectly that day, but we're sure he was even more excited than he let on. With six to nine more months of training left, the Pluto-loving pup has plenty of time to learn the ropes of becoming an official guide dog. For now, he's just enjoying the spotlight.
