Stupid hook-ups, questionable social media posts…We’ve all done things we’re not proud of when we’ve had one too many.

Apparently that applies to vegetarians, too.

A new survey from money-saving site Voucher Codes Pro in the U.K. found that more than a third of vegetarians chow down on meat after they’ve been drinking.

For the survey, researchers asked nearly 1,800 vegetarians about their drunk eating habits (because, why not?).

While 63 percent of those surveyed were adamant that they never ate meat—while drinking or otherwise—37 percent said they did. And most said it’s not a rarity.

Nearly 35 percent said they eat meat every time they’re drunk, while 26 percent said it happens “fairly often.”

And they’re not just reaching for any ol’ meat. These are the top five ones they’re the most likely to eat while drunk:

  • Kebabs (39 percent)

  • Beef burgers (34 percent)

  • Bacon (27 percent)

  • Fried chicken (19 percent)

  • Pork sausages (14 percent)

BTW: They’re apparently not having the cheap stuff. Meat-eating vegetarians said they spend an average of $7.35 on meat when they’re drunk.

But apparently moonlighting as a carnivore comes with a side dish of shame. The majority (69 percent) said they don’t tell other people that they ate meat.

While you should obviously eat (or not eat) whatever you want, it’s kind of satisfying to know that your vegetarian friend who gives you the side-eye every time to have a burger might be doing the same on the sly.
